Madison's Special Wish Foundation Trip/GKTW

I am loving your TR. The day at Discovery Cove looked amazing and I love all the characters you were able to see at Magic Kingdom...I think my kids will love the characters so I am hoping we can find as many as possible! Can't wait to read more.

Aw, I am so glad you guys were able to go on this Wish trip. Madison looks so incredibly happy in each photo and she really does deserve that!!! I am so glad to hear that the characters were going out of their way for her.

And Izzy is too adorable.

Working on getting pics for day 3 downloaded to photobucket so I can add them for everyone to see. Madison is doing pretty good, however mommy is not. I just get get these bad dreams to stop. I am so tired of feeling like this (scared, helpless, hopeless and lost). I just wish someone would figure out this Job's Syndrome and make it all go away. The thoughts that go through my head are just not right. How do I make them stop???? Well, just thought I would vent a little and let everyone know I am working on day 3 for all to see.

Here new puppy Izzy. Toy - Nintendo DS

You got a puppy after all! I know how the little ones can be a handful. Hopefully Izzy will mellow out a bit with age. I bet Madison is so happy!

Hugs to you! Just remember back to the wonderful lady you met who was older (not old) and had given you so much hope! I do wish all this could just disappear.

I agree. When we came to visit you at NIH you really seemed excited about having met someone that has so far been able to beat the odds, so to speak. I know you said she lives not too far from you, were you able to get her contact information? Maybe you could contact her and just talk to get some more inspiration or ideas of how to better cope.

Is Madison still in school? Or has she had to stay home because of the fever?

Aw Tammy, I am sure if any one of us could take away the nightmares, we would. You're a strong woman and you'll get thru it. I agree with the previous posters, try contacting the woman you met and hopefully she can help ease your mind. Also, you know you can always vent here with your Dis friends. :)

I sent you a pm. Madison had to stay home because of the fevers, so she has been out of school almost 3 weeks now. She gets to go back on the 17th of Jan.

Thank you so much for letting me vent and for following along. Am hoping to get day 3 done tonight.

Bummer about having to stay home so long. I hope she is feeling better soon!

Ok so I need to apologize before you read. Don't know if anyone caught it, but I have two day threes. This should actually be day 4 not 3. I guess when you've only had about 5-6 hours of sleep in the past 3-4 days you lose your ability to count. You will also see at the very bottom after all the pictures that even though the pictures have dates on them I messed up on what day Madison had the tuck in. I was actually on day three, but I had it on what should have been day 4. Oh well at least my mind worked well enough for me to be able to even post some pictures. Hope all enjoy.

So on day 3 we went to Sea World. Madison got to feed the dolphins and the sting rays. A string ray bit her when she was trying to feed it. It thought her finger was the fish. It didn't do any damage, but it did scare her to death. She did the trick or treating there and rode some rides. We weren't that impressed with Sea World and decided that we for sure would pay to go back. I think Madison's favorite thing was the animal show they had. It was full of dogs and cats and with her love for animals it was perfect. We also got to see the Sea Lion show, the dolphin show and the Shamu show (which was a totally of about 4 minutes long). Later that evening was the pirates and princess party at the pool and Shamu showed up dressed as a pirate. Then after we went back to our villa Mayor Clayton came to tuck Madison in to bed. It was so cute and she loved it.

Oh before I add the pictures I want to apologize if I am not including enough details to what we did each day. Mom said my trip report is more pictures than anything else.

Just noticed as I was reviewing before I posted that the tuck in was on day 2 not 3 so sorry.

ADORABLE TAMMY!!! I love the pictures!!! Madison looks like she was having a blast!!

Madison - was it warm enough to swim alot when you were there? What did you think of that Atlantis ride at Sea World? I thought it was great! I love the animal show's too. The Shamu show we saw was much longer - I wonder if there was something going on when you saw it that they had to shorten it?

Please do not apologize! That is also our rule on the disboutiquers thread! We enjoy anything you write and LOVE all the pictures! Sorry Madison got bit. That would scare me too! The first time I touched a stingray was a few weeks ago and they feel like snot. It was so GROSS!

I grew up with Sea World and it holds a very special place in my heart. It is so expensive for a day though. My favorite is always the sea lion show and we have hit short Shamu shows lately. She is always having babies!

Thanks for sharing the new pictures. Madison does look like she enjoyed the day. I love the picture of her looking out waiting for her tuck in.

LOL, pictures sometimes tell the story a lot better than words can and I'm enjoying the pictures! You can really see how much Madison is enjoying herself.

How cute is that being tucked in by the Mayor!! :lovestruc

Best wishes for the New Year for you, Madison, and Grandma!

I am really enjoying the pictures! Thank you for posting them! Looks like you had a great time on your trip~

And that puppy is adorable! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year~!

I figured since I can't sleep again I would go ahead and do day 4 or at least what I think is day 4. It could be day 5 or 3. :rotfl2::surfweb::rotfl2:

Ok so on day 4 Madison got to ride a full grown horse at GKTW. She looks so little in some of the pictures, but I guess she is only 7 and that isn't really that big. She just acts so much older most of the time. Anyway, after that we went to Epcot for a little while just to do a few of her favorite rides and then headed to Magic Kingdom. We got to see the parade and got some more autographs at both parks that day. And again the characters made over her like she was some special celebrity and everyone of them signed her cast. After the parade I got my hair cut and Madison and I both got some pixie dust added to our hair. Me getting my hair cut there at the barber shop is becoming kind of a tradition for me. It is funny how they cut it exactly how I ask them to and I can't get that kind of treatment here at home. We also got some very extra special pixie dust at Magic Kingdom due to Madison being on her wish trip. We went upto see if there were any openings at Crystal Palace for dinner and the lady told me to come back in about an hour to an hour and a half. At that point it was like 6 or a little after so it was going to be really late for dinner IF we even were able to get in. Madison was sitting in her wheelchair and said to the lady "this is my favorite place to eat." The lady bent down and start to say she was really sorry when she noticed Madison's wish trip pin. She then asked if we were on her wish trip and I told her yes. She said wait here for a minute and she left. After about 5 minutes she said she had a table for us and in we went. The pixie dust didn't stop there. While we were eating she came to our table with a bag and handed it to Madison telling her that Mickey had heard she was there for her wish trip and wanted her to have something special. In the bag was a little stuffed Tigger. Then later the man how stands and holds the door open for the guest to go into Crystal Palace came by the table and gave Madison a trading pin. It was so awesome. We did some more rides after dinner and then we watch the electric parade. Was a great day, again.

Did not know you could only add a certain number of pictures to a post, so here are the rest of the pictures for day 4.
