I've decided that we're going to go in November this year and put off our 3 week trip to Jan 07. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I'm so excited and so is ds, only thing is, I had decided on 10 days but now thinking of 14 days. Only problem is that would leave no time to recover from jet lag before having to start work again and I suffered really badly for weeks coming back in 2003.

I'm so glad though that ds is home educated as it means we can go when it's less crowded :Pinkbounc

I can't wait but 262 days seems a loooonngg way away.

Hi We went for 12 days in Nov 04 we just missed out on Sea world and AK but managed all the others without killing ourselves the weather was perfect and the 1st week quiet, the 2nd week was busy due to thanksgiving, however the parks stayed open later and there was more atmosphere.
So go for as long as you can and worry about the jet lag when u get home.

Sounds like you made a good decision Claire :)

I go each November with a friend who works (I don't) and at some other time with DH, and I always arrange a Friday flight back so they have the Saturday and Sunday to recover before work on Monday.

Last year we spent 2 nights at All Stars before moving into our DVC resort, and paid $55 a night (Pop Century was the same price) - you can usually get some great hotel prices at that time of year :cool1:
