Well, I'm back. The situation is ongoing, the other person (that I was the 'muscle' for) is ok with how the meeting turned out.

It's not over, the fat lady hasn't sung though. The boss of the person who caused the issue plus another person in an independent/supervisory department are both now aware of the situation. So I'm going to sit back and watch things simmer for a little while...

It involves me somewhat, but it's more this other person's show. I sat in on the meeting and pretty much kept my mouth shut, I was mostly there to make sure that the issue-causer didn't just brush-off what had happened (like had been done when the other person tried to talk about it yesterday) and that our concerns started to be heard. The other person has to deal with the issue-causer as their supervisor-type on an ongoing daily basis, I do not.

I'm still FUMING, but I actually think issue-causer hoisted themselves on their own petard during the meeting, they just don't know it yet...but I can wait, I'm patient.

You should start your own thread about a vague drama you are having. I'll post something along the lines of..."OMG! That sounds awful! Don't give in. Stand your ground. Keep us updated on all the fuzzy, obscure details."

WOW Agnes, I don't know what's going on exactly but I'm not sure it matters to me. I happen to think it's pretty terrific that you were willing to sit though an obviously uncomfortable situation simply to be supportive of a friend in need. You are something else

I wish I could tell you-all more of what happened, I feel that many on this board & elsewhere here are (at the very least) my 'pen pals', some of you have become my real-life friends, but I am concerned about letting too many details out. The situation is still very tricky and I do not want anything to get traced back to me. I still think the supervisory-types who are now involved will be appalled when they figure out what really happened and more changes will be forthcoming.
Like I said a while back...I am patient and can wait for everything to shake out. By their own words the issue-causer, in effect, has already testified against themselves, they just don't realize it. Yet.
