Cast of Characters:

Me-36-Planner of all things Disney, known to many as "Kween Disney"
DH- 41-Loyal King to his Kween- happy to be in Disney whenever possible
DS-13-Yep, he's 13. Loves Disney when his attitude isn't overtaking his personality.
DD-10-Another Disney fanatic
DS-6-The most fun to watch at Disney- everything is still "magical" to him

The Plan: We booked this trip very last minute, after myself losing my Mom in January and DH losing his Dad in February. We all need some pixie dust to cheer us up and thought a last minute Disney trip would do the trick. We are DVC members so we booked 5 nights in a studio at BCV. Got airfaire from NY for $140 round trip so we decided to fly (we usually drive from Southampton, NY.) My DS and DBIL and DN also joined in and booked a studio at BCV. (My DD stayed with them at night) After booking our trip, a large chunk of my DH's family decided to come along also- but they stayed at WLV. MY DH's nephew attends UCF, so he came along to as many things as he could (classes allowing) So, our total party at dinner some nights was 16!! Wow.
I made all PS's prior to the trip so that we wouldn't be hassled by waiting while at WDW.

Sunday 3/30- Day 1: Left the house at 4 am to drive to JFK to catch our 7:30 am flight. All went smoothly and we arrived at MCO about 10:15. Jimmy from Yourride.net was waiting with our stretch limo (Yay!!) It was beautiful, clean and stocked with bottled water and cokes. The kids were in heaven. We arrived at BCV at about 11:00 am. It was mostly cloudy and about 55 degrees but it was better than NY!! My DS and I went to check in while the others roamed the lobby. The resort itself is truly beautiful. At check in, they couldn't seem to find my ressie (they misspelled my name) but found my sisters, then found mine. The CM was very nice and accomodating, she told us what rooms were available and let us pick which ones we wanted! It was great. We had both requested non-smoking, pool view, upper floor, so DS took room 260 which had a huge balcony and I picked room416, which had a regular balcony that fit 2 chairs and small table. It was fine. The view was so very nice of the pool and we could see my DS's room across the way. My sister's room was ready right then so we all went up and dropped off our stuff and went down to Hurricane Hanna's for lunch. We then changed into our swimsuits and headed for the quiet pool. We swam for a while and used the hot tub and then @ 1:00 pm I called the front desk to check our room- it was ready! Both rooms were clean and spacious. My room was directly across the hall from the laundry room which was really convenient (and a few steps from the main elevator which was great too!)
We checked out the resort. I loved it. SAB was awesome. The view of Boardwalk was great. We have only stayed at OKW so this was quite different for us. We decided to go to Beaches and Cream for dinner and the "Kitchen Sink" Dinner was great, except DS age 6 fell asleep in DH's lap at about 6:30. He was exhausted!! Therefore, we never did get that Kitchen Sink!! It looked good tho!! We all went back to our rooms and were all asleep by 8:30!! We were planning the MK the next day so we knew we would need our energy!! Goodnight Mickey!!!

Looking forward to reading more-My son will be 10 when we go and we are staying at BCV also! Did your 10 year old like the characters or was she too old?

This sounds like so much fun, having a large group. The most people I've gone with is 4, and I think it would be a completely different experience to have up to 16 people, especially people you like :)

I love it when the kids fall asleep in their food.....it is priceless......thanks again for posting your report
