Maclaren Clasp Difference?

We went to BabiesRUs and comparied Quest and Triumph. One major difference seemed to be the clasp. Both have the 5-point harness, but the Triumph's clasp was much easier to use than the Quest. Seems odd that they would have a more difficult clasp on a more expensive model. Since I have not read anything on here about this difference, I am wondering if maybe they put the display model together wrong . . .

Do any of you Maclaren owners have any trouble with the clasp? Have any of you noticed the difference in the 2006 Triumph and Quest?

I can't compare the two because I don't remember the Triumph's clasp - but the one on my quest isn't overly difficult. It is a pretty tight clasp but that just makes it where DD can't get it open...I usually need both hands but it's fairly easy using both hands.

Funny, I noticed the same difference when checking out Macs at BabiesRus. and also wondered about this. I really preferrred the Quest for the deeper seat, additional leg support, and the better recline, but the clasp on the Triumph was much nicer...the way the prongs entered the main clasp was just more smooth. I will ne interested to hear what others have experienced.

Well, I decided on the Quest. Liked the way the little one fit in it better, liked the little window in the shade, the mesh pouch for drinks, etc. I even really like the leg extenders, especially with the recline, which I did not think I would even use.

The clasp does seem more difficult to manage than the Triumph in the store, but once we got the hang of it, it is no big deal.

Wish the basket was little more accessible, but I suppose I will try to find the perfect size diaper bag to go in it to make things easier. The one I have is too bulky to really get it in and out.

LOVED the ease in folding it up and down. Click and you are ready to go! Love the light weight!

I have the Quest...and I LOVE it!!!!!!! I got it in January and it's the Quest Mod. The clasps are tight, but all the better to keep baby secure!!!! It is a GREAT stroller!!!! CONGRATS! You won't be disappointed!
