Mac Triumph owners, do you use the raincover?

Hi - those of you who take a Mac Triumph with you, do you use the raincover it came with while at Disney? I love how it fits so perfectly, but I was wondering if it's an issue that the rest of the stroller would get soaking wet if there was a sudden rainstorm at Disney. Should I get a larger raincover to keep the whole stroller dry?

Thanks in advance! :)

The one that comes with it fits so perfectly...I wouldn't go looking for more stuff to carry, but if you are really bothered about a potential soaking, have an extra poncho for the top and back just in case (you could use clothespins or binderclips to hold it on). If it is raining that bad, you will probably find someplace dry to wait it out, so likely won't need it.

I've always brought the raincover to Disney when rain is in the forecast. We've been in torrential downpours and the cover fits so nicely when the kids are in it and also when the it's empty and we're on a ride somewhere. The cover always kept the seat dry. The handles and wheels would get wet, but that's not a big deal because more than likely, with rain coming down so hard, you'll be a bit wet(legs and arms) anyways and it wouldn't make a difference to try to keep the other parts of the stroller dry. It's just nice to have a dry seat. Everything else will dry up pretty quickly anyways, when the sun comes out.

We took ours with on the last trip and didn't have to use it because it only rained once and that was while we were at our resort. We will be taking it with us again in Oct.

We have a Kidco stroller (Kidco used to be owned by Maclaren so the stroller design is very similar). That stroller has a rain "shield" that just hooks on the front edge of the canopy and drapes in front of the child. There are hooks at the bottom to keep it from flapping up in the wind. We have been in a few torrential downpours and used it and ds stayed completely dry under it. The canopy does get wet but it didn't leak, so it is a very weather proof material. I like that the rain cover was small enough it folded into a small square and fit into a storage pocket sewn on the back of the stroller canopy. When you have so much stuff to carry around anyway, it's nice that the stroller comes with something that is made to fit it and is nice and compact so you hardly even know you have it unless you need it.

We take our Maclaren Techno with it's included rain cover. It always worked just fine and dandy until the monsoon hit. :lmao: Our stroller was sitting outside The Living Seas with it's rainshield on, but it rained so long and so much, that it managed to seep through and soak the entire seat. We had to go buy a poncho to line the stroller seat so my son could ride in it and then use a hairdryer to try to dry it off once we returned to the room. Three years of rain storm use prior and plenty of rain storms since without issue - but that one was a doozy.
