M6 Toll question

I've looked at the GPS directions and am a bit confused as it says at one point to leave the M6 toll and join the M42 then rejoin the M6 toll for another mile, will I be charged twice for this or is it the same road? I couldn't make it out on Google maps and my colleague said his GPS did something similar last year but he's in France now so I can't ask him!

Any help on this would be great.

Don't worry, only one charge.

The section of road goes from the M6Toll to M42 and then M6 as the interchanges between each motorway is huge. Just make sure you are in the right lane for the road you want to be on. And keep left unless overtaking!

Weve used the M6 Toll before but only a part route, not as far as that as we were staying fairly near Alton Towers
