Lynx bus travel

We would possibly like to go to a nearby shopping center (with a Walmart and such) via the Lynx bus service. Is there a Walmart/Target etc near the Florida Mall or anywhere on the Link 50 or Link 111 from Disney?

Most people who shop offsite have cars - and wouldn't be familiar with Lynx and what's where in relation to its stops.

You'd probably do best by opening the Lynx site, the another browser window to find specific store locations. Compare those locations with the Lynx routes, and don't limit yourself to just the two you mention. Be prepared to transfer.

On the other hand, I'm positive the 111 makes/has dozens of other official stops in addition to MCO, Florida Mall, and Downtown Disney. It's entirely possible that route will serve you. Golynx.com has a wizard: you put your start and end locations, and it will give you routing information.

There is a Target store on the north side of the Florida Mall. It is an older store, pretty big but not a Super Target IIRC. Lynx may stop there on the way out of the mall. If not, although it's just outside the mall, it's a couple of blocks hike from the mall to the Target out parcel.

There are both a Super Target & a Super WalMart in Kissimmee on 192. Link 56 runs past them. You can catch link 56 at the TTC; it does NOT stop at DTD. It's about a half-hour ride.

I don't know whether there are any other stores of much interest in their immediate vicinity. They're a couple of miles apart, so be sure to purchase a Lynx day pass (or longer) if you want to visit both.

I haven't been to that Target, but the WalMart was probably the busiest one I've seen. It may not be as bad as I remember, as they've opened a couple more stores in the area since I was there.
