Lynx bus system

has anyone used the Lynx bus system in orlando?..is it convenient?easy to get around ?...i understand that it comes into the disney ticket and transportation centre>/////I would consider using it to get to some shopping and dining offisite while staying at disney if people feel its worth it.......

We are planning on using it in March. From what I have learned it may take us about 45 minutes longer to get to our resort but we allowed a day to travel so no bigger for us.

LYNX has been very quick about answering my questions and mailed me a large packet of information, route schedules and a map!

I've used the Lynx bus to go to the Seaworld and the Premium Outlet Mall. The ride to Seaworld was easy.

could you tell me all about getting the Lynx to Seaworld? where to get it from ,what is the earliest time you can get the bus and have you done the trip to Universal and IOA and how long does it take?

Hi Wendy,

To get to Seaworld, you can take Link 50 at the Ticket and Transportation Centre. Then get off at the Seaworld stop (it's near the parking lot entrance). You can tell the bus driver that you're going to the Seaworld and they'll let you know when you get there. The earliest time you can get the bus is 7:18am. You can check out the schedule here:

It was a 15-20 minute ride (depending on the traffic).

No, I haven't taken Lynx to Universal. I believe you have to do a transfer somewhere if you want to get to the Universal. You may find something on the Lynx website. If you don't, try out their route planning assistance thing:

I've used this a couple times and they got back to me with the details pretty quickly.

the 50 will take you to Seaworld.
mon to sat (no sunday service on this route)
to get to universal take the 50 when boarding tell the driver you need a transfer and would like to transfer to the 43 going twoards turkey lake road, he/she will point you in the right direction, present the transfer to the driver tell him/her you need to transfer to the 40, take the 43 to the universal employment office and tranfer to the 40.

on sunday it will take quite some time becuase all other routes fight I-drive traffic. however you can take the 50 to seaworld and transfer to 8 then transfer to the 21 however be aware on sunday there is a reduced scheadule and it may take longer to make transfers.
