I want to be down for star wars weekends (geek alert!!) so I'm thinking May 16 to May 20 right now. When are you going to go?

well i haven't decided yet. i was maybe going to go may 5-9, but have to wait until dave's vegas trip is set in stone. i also considered somewhere around memorial day so i didn't have to take extra time from work. as of now... i'm going alone to save money, and save him the torture of looking at linens and flowers. i'd like to rent points soon at boardwalk villas and we're at 11 months now... so i'm trying to get him to hurry with his plans!!

Thank god for no more crappy week! Woohoo! I'm hoping your dress shopping venture is a positive note for you my dear! I'm keeping fingers crossed!

As far as the wedding.. it SUCKS that minimums went up. But it will ALL work out in the end. You have everything figured out and if anything just cut down on some of the little stuff. As long as the Mice are there.. who the hell needs flowers? =] <333

LOL I was going to go without Greg but then I had visions of him hating our cake flavors and complaining about it for 50 years. I think we are going to rent a studio at Beach Club..you'll have to let me know how it is when you stay there this year!

well i'm back the shop i went to just opened recently and they're still building their dress collection. they had a way less than i imagined, but they have more on order that should be here in a couple weeks. they were so wonderful to work with--we even sat down at the computer looking at other dresses. i was only interested in the maggie dresses and the allure dresses--so we pulled a couple. there were a couple i couldn't try on because the samples were 6 or 8... but they have more sizes on the way. i'll try to find them and link them on here.... the one i think i would realllllly like. so here are some of what i tried on:

****please don't mind my hair... not only is it crazy humid, but we've had torrential downpours all day. plus it's in that crazy growing out stage--blah!

this is an allure... although more simple than i would normally pick... i kind of fell in love with the simple, yet pretty appeal to it.

this was the salon owner's pick... i tried it on because she's sweet. i knew i wouldn't like the embellishments going down the middle... just not a fan of it... but it's still prettier than i thought.

and for giggles... i wanted to see a different style...

and without further adieu... i'd like to meet miss isadora marie! she's the sister of the famous tea-length isadora ann. i love her. i'm nervous i'm too short and squatty for her... but she sure is pretty.

i liked the first one and isadora marie the best. the others i wanted to try are:

(this one was fabulous in person... it just would have been better not in a 6, lol)

i'm interested to see what they get in, in a couple weeks. at least i got to check the place out and it went so much better than the other place the family will be here in a couple weeks and we'll see what they think!!!

But.. as I told you I LOVE Isadora Marie on you! As soon as you sent me the picture I was in awe! I don't think you look squatty at all in it! Esp if you put on some killer heels!

And BRENDA is fabulous. The way the fabric is going to make your body look KILLER! I'm so excited for you to try it on!

The Isadora Marie is beautiful!! Also I do like the one that the salon owner picked out. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those! Even though they didn't have much, it seems like they had some good options. And that's wonderful that they were so good to work with!

My vote is for Isadora Marie, it really looks like a princess dress. And I don't think it makes you look squat at all, especially as a PP said with some great heels on. I also think the Brenda looks gorgeous as well, very sexy!

I fell in love with Isadora Ann this past week. Luckily, a bridal shop near me has it, so I was able to see it within 24 hours. It is stunning! The web pics don't do her justice. I ordered her before I left the shop.

I am planning on going back to the shop in after my site visit (this coming weekend) with my real camera to take pics of her. I will share what I come home with.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks so much for taking a look at the dresses for me I did like them, and will consider them again when my family comes to town, but I just haven't had that "WOW" feeling yet. I think Isadora Marie is beautiful, but I think I might love the first one... but for me, and my wedding vision... it's so plain I think I'm going to take my jewelry in and see if it blings it up enough. I'm also considering going back to that place that's an hour away for their massive selection. I called to check on a few things and the girl that made me cry no longer works there. That's a good thing. Dave wanted to go with me, and we were going to go up yesterday... but he had a 102 fever all weekend so that squashed our plans. He even stayed home today--and that NEVER happens. I'm waiting to get it now, lol. I tried to stay out of the house so he could rest and now I'm sunburnt so bad from laying by the pool, lol. It's one of those embarrassing, uneven, you-obviously-had-big-sunglasses-on burn, lol.

This week I'm too busy to go look at dresses--I have both works all week, then, my work picnic at Kings Island on Saturday. I'm going to keep making a list of what I see online and narrow it from there.

Oh and can I say BOO to the price hike on the DxDDP for 2012!! We may just go with TIW instead now.

I'm going to try to stay awake and maybe get a little work done. I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
