So, here's the story. I was worried at the end of April, because we were not hearing from our AAA TA about when we'd get our "documents" for our MYW package for May 19...so I called, got her voice mail. Sent her an email & found out she was out for a few days. Finally she got back to me. I was getting pretty darn upset...Last year when we booked direct with Disney, we got the trip docs like almost 4 weeks before the trip...here it was just 19 days away & we still didn't have them. So, AAA TA finally calls me back & tells me sorry she can't mail them, I have to drive in. This is a 40 min. drive each way but I agree to come get them, because I'm getting really antsy. When I get there, she starts explaining all the stuff in the doc package, which is page after page of vouchers. I could not believe all the stuff in there....(we booked 2 rooms so got 2 identical packages)...besides the 10% AAA discount on the room price, for each room we also got a coupon for free Dis mini-golf, Disney story time reservation, one 5x7 Disney photopass picture, a 90 min personal watercraft rental for price of 60 minute, 1 free Planet Hollywood keepsake souvenier (whatever that is?), $15 Planet Hollywood food voucher, AAA Diamond parking, and AAA Diamond savings card (discounts at various places, including World of Disney Store.) And, when we check in, each room gets a $25.00 Disney gift card.
And then she explained why she couldn't mail the docs...because the final AAA premium we get, "because we booked during Disney month", is a portable car DVD player...and they don't mail those! Well, needless to say, I wasn't mad anymore.:dance3: Granted, we may or may not use all these vouchers, but I thought we were just getting a room discount...had no idea there was all these other things in there. And chances are at least some of these will get used (especially the gift card:banana: ) Moral of story...yes, AAA discount is worth it.:cheer2:

Most of those are perks for any WDW guest that books a package. Well, the vouchers are anyway, never heard of the $25 gift card.

Congratulations on the DVD player

Allthough i booked through AAA for the Room Discount (15%) and the Diamond Card (10% off some things)... My added bonus was a 25$ Gift card to Target. Not a nice DVD player :) But I would do it again just for the room discount and diamond card.. Plus the peace of mind if somthing goes wrong i can go to an office and yell at someone....

I have never heard of either bonus, here. Could you please tell me more about Disney month? I never heard of that, either. We go almost every year and book through AAA; so, I certainly can do it in the Disney month to get a few more perks. TIA.

January is Disney month. (Not for travel, but for booking.)
I have not heard of the DVD gift before though. Must be a AAA promotion. :3dglasses
