LURKYLOO's Wedding Trippie: Morocco/Attic/Lower UK: Wedding Album + Gown Preservation

I got so excited When I saw you said youmet an imagineer "steve" I thought it was my uncle! :)

You look like you had so so much fun!

Finally, on our most recent trip there DF was like "How much did this woman SPEND??":scared1: I proudly stated "She holds the record for closest over the minimum actually!"

This is HIGH-larious! :rotfl: Your poor DF... :lmao:

You know they sell prints of the stretching room portraits on Ebay, right? And Mirrors in the shape of the entrance plaque, and entrance plaque replicas and doorbells... occasionally a gargoyle sconce or something copied from the ride... ;)

Oh yes... bought it all... in fact, all my money goes to eBay - that's why I was such a freak about sticking to the minimum. :lmao:

Oh wow - your uncle's an Imagineer? How fun is that?! Do you get the inside scoop on all the new developments? :hyper:

Sago Cay is even closer to the fireworks than the marina - that's gonna be awesome! Where do they set up for dessert parties there?

Carrie -- I think it is right on that beach/concrete area at the end of the building, closest to the castle. I am gonna check it out this Sunday night. OMG!!! I am sooooo excited!!!

A-hem. Um, Carrie? We can't let this TR stay on page 2, can we? :lmao:

OK, OK, we can wait for the rest. Just don't take too long. :rotfl:

Oh no Carrie, have we now come to the end of your TR?! Or is there more to come? I don't want it to end!

I keep saying this, but I was really surprised how much I liked MK. When I visited as a snotty teenager, I sneered at all its differences from Disneyland and considered it the inferior park. But now that I’m a snotty adult (and I visit Disneyland so frequently that I’ve actually – gasp! – been known to be bored there), I love its combination of familiar and different. And I love that we can visit attractions that Disneyland has shuttered or replaced, like the fort on Tom Sawyer Island or Swiss Family Treehouse.

You know, I grew up on the west coast and my family had AP to Disneyland and I really do love that park. :goodvibes My first trip to WDW was in 2002 and it was AFTER I had already started working as a CM at the GF. (Yep, I got a job a WDW and started working before I had ever even been in a WDW theme park. :confused3 ) I still think Disneyland is the superior park, but now MK has more memories there for me. I enjoy both for separate reasons and enjoy the differences...

...and I have actually never really found anything exactly the same between the parks. :wizard:

Ooh! Take lots of pictures!

There's more! There's more! Right now I'm working on a do-over of Honeymoon Day 2, which I never wrote about b/c I was so distraught about our MK photos...

A-hem. Um, Carrie? We can't let this TR stay on page 2, can we? :lmao: OK, OK, we can wait for the rest. Just don't take too long.

It's coming! I'm trying to tone down the vitriol in the part about our $#%^&@ Magic Kingdom photo shoot before I post it in a public forum... :rotfl:

...and I have actually never really found anything exactly the same between the parks. :wizard:

That's a really good point, and I think that's why we ended up loving Magic Kingdom so much - there's always something to see that we've never seen before! :goodvibes

Carrie,

Have the pictures been taken care of for the MK shoot? I'll try to be patient if that will be included in the Day 2 update though.

Saw your food photos and then saw your wedding photos in your sig so I hopped over here to find out all about your amazing wedding. What an experience! Thanks for sharing and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness.

It'll be in Day 2, never fear! However, just to press my luck, I'm about to upload a do-over of my Honeymoon Day 1 report before I post about Day 2....:rolleyes1

Thank you so much! And welcome to the Weddings & Honeymoons board. Watch out - you'll get hooked! :rotfl:

Yay - there's more on the way! Woop woop!

:rotfl2:

So I was researching the lost Honeymoon Day 2 in my journal just now and realized I didn't really give Day 1 a fair shake by summing it up in about three sentences. I decided to go back in and flesh it out a little with my notes and a bunch of borrowed pictures (cuz we didn't take very many).

Here, to buy me some time on the Day 2 update, is a link to the fabulous

Honeymoon Day 1 Do-Over Report

It may not be the most exciting installment of the trippie... let's just say that if you've ever wondered what a Walgreen's looks like, now's your chance to find out! :rotfl:

The day-one-do-over was great!!! Those burgers at Beaches & Cream are our fave!! :) And how cool that you got to see the P&PP fireworks from your balcony!!! And don't laugh at DVC..we're proud members and not paying for most of our honeymoon because of it lol.

I don't post very often either bu I have read every word of both th TR and PJ and I love them both you are high-larious. Honeymoon day 1 sounds like fun, I have never been to any of the water parks I think next time I will go .

Wait... so you made those hats? I'd buy them from you!

I don't post often but I had to tell you I love your TR and your wedding was Beautiful!:thumbsup2

Aw... thanks! :cloud9:

Oh I didn't mean to laugh at DVC - really, that comment was just sour grapes because secretly I would LOVE to own DVC. :ssst:

Glad you're enjoying everything! I loved Stormalong Bay - maybe because it's really just an overblown pool and not an official water park - so I would highly recommend it!

Wait... so you made those hats? I'd buy them from you!

Really? :hyper: Cuz we still intend to list them on eBay, we just haven't gotten around to it yet...

Really! Can you let me know when you get them listed? Pretty Please?!

Me too!
Send me a PM if you're not allowed to announce it on here - I'd definitely be interested as it might be the only way I can get Simon to wear some Mickey ears! (Probably still won't manage it, but from his point of view they're more 'normal looking' than the top hats, so I may get away with it!!!)
Trouble is (for me, not you), given their popularity here, they'll probably start a few bidding wars and become megabucks!
