Lunch with an Imagineer

Does anyone know if this is still going on?? I read about lunch and dinner with an Imagineer on the AllEars website, but the last update they have is 12/2005. I would love to do the lunch with an Imagineer at the Brown Derby this trip!!

Has anyone doe this recently? What did you think of the experience?

I was thinking of this also......until I read a couple of threads saying how disappointed they were with the experience. Said it was definitely not worth the time or the effort. I hope you'll get more positive responses. I'd like to hear them as well.

Yes, this experience is still available. I did it a few months ago and it was great. i highly recommend it.

I recommend it too. I had Lunch with an Imagineer back in September, and it was excellent. We had a head of graphic design as our Imagineer. There was, let's see...

The other woman, and one of the boys, are both interested in careers in that field - you don't get to pick your Imagineer, they just got lucky

Nobody monopolized the conversation; the Imagineer was very friendly and informative. He explained some of what he does, and mentioned a project or two for which he was responsible, and then answered a variety of questions for the next hour and a half. Oh, and we got to eat, too. One of the boys, and one of the adults, didn't like any of the menu choices - so they were each able to order from the Brown Derby childrens' menu. The 'regular' food was very good, though - although I'd have been just as happy with just the Cobb Salad.

I would do it again.

*I know there's supposed to be an age limit, but it did not matter at our lunch - both boys were very well-mannered.
