Trying to decide where to take my mother (59) at the MK in February. We aren't too picky but we like good food too. We love Golden Corral. I consider GC to be kinda low-ranking on the food quality scale....if ya know what I mean. But, I'm hoping the TS food in the parks is at least GC quality or better. Where would you take your Mother for lunch at the MK??

CP is set up more like GC, help yourself all you care to eat, carvers at the carver station, etc. A HUGE step up, though. Think Roast Beef, Prime Rib, Salmon, etc.. Check out the menu on allearsnet.com. The restaurant itself is just beautiful, and the Pooh characters are cute and fun. Loved it! :goodvibes

If she's like my mom, she would enjoy the classic characters more than Pooh & friends. Also, the location is right in Liberty square, another of my mom's favorites.

My mom would prefer LTT (as would I). She would really like the colonial atmosphere over a character meal with Pooh and friends. I really like the lunch menu there. The food is great and the service was excellent when we were there in May. I have never been to Tony's.

I voted CP because I don't like Tony's. At all.

LTT is just a little too "heavy" for lunch, IMO. That's a dinner place for me.

AND, CP is a buffett, kinda like Golden Corral. We like Golden Corral, too. :teeth:

BUT, if I were eating only one meal at CP, I'd make it breakfast. :) But that's just me.

none. i would do crt, its our favorite at mk or if you dont mind leaving the park i would go to the garden view lounge tea at the grand floridian, they have good fancy sandwiches & goodies. enjoy!

We will probably be taking my MIL (56) in Sept. and have reservations at CP and LTT. If I had to choose one, I'd choose LTT, because the family style table service sounds really appealing as a chance to stay off of my feet for a while.

I went with my Mom(63) and she really enjoyed CP, she had a blast there. the food is always great (going back in Jan :Pinkbounc )... I never went to LTT so can't help you there... and I only had breakfast at Tony's, and I really enjoyed it.
