Lunch in Japan

I can't decide which to make a PS at Tempura Kiko or Teppenyaki.

Any suggestions or feedback? We usually eat at garden grill, but since it is closed are looking for someone else to go in Epcot!

If I remember correctly, you can only make PS for the Teppan side, not the Tempura Kiku. I have always been able to walk up to Kiku with little or no wait. Teppan has always had a wait without a PS. If you get there right as they open for lunch, you probably won't need one (depending on when you are going...your mileage may vary).

My last trip, I ended up at Japan 4 nights for dinner and 2 or 3 lunches. You can't go wrong with either.

You can't make - and don't usually need - PS for Matsu No Ma Lounge, which is in the front of the building and is a very relaxing, quiet place with tempura and sushi. You don't see the chefs preparing the meal, but the service is wonderful.

We have a tradition of Mom & Son lunches at Tempura Kiku. No PS's there, but the longest we ever waited was about 10 minutes. Often, we just walk right in. I really love TK. I like Teppenyaki also, but TK is our favorite.

Teppenyaki is AWESOME!! I ate their for the first time my last trip. Our chef was hilarious and the food rocked. I will gladly eat there again!

We usually do the Lounge, no PS needed. The view is great and the menu is a combination of food from both of the restaurants. This is a great location and the food is always good.

I only have one day to try it & I want to make sure I get there during their lunch hours!

We love Teppanyaki. It's really fun to watch them prepare your food. The price is pretty good for lunch as well.

on our trip last Thanksgiving. We went for dinner. Would love to know current prices for lunch. Deb's site hasn't been updated for lunch since 2002. Anyone who has been to lunch here lately please post!!
