Lunch dilemma: BOG for the 2nd time or LTT for the 1st time?

Booked an ADR for lunch at Be Our Guest for my solo trip in October. Booked it because my family and I had an awesome dinner there a couple years ago.

I'm beginning to think it may not be the best use of a Deluxe Dining Plan credit at lunch. I'm also concerned about my 11:50 AM reservation. My dinner ADR isn't until 8:50 PM. That's a lot of time if I'm only eating a sandwich (big eater here).

I've never been to Liberty Tree Tavern, but I'm interested in the toffee cake and trying something new. That being said, it just seems wrong not to do Be Our Guest if I can, even if lunch is a bit of an experience downgrade from dinner.

Which would you pick if you were me?

Well, I am a big turkey & dressing fan. I also really like the toffee cake dessert. We ate at LTT for the first time last year and we are going back this year. Like I said, I really like turkey & dressing. I would give LTT a try. However, if turkey and or pot roast doesn't sound as good to you as BOG, then go with BOG. Below are pictures of the Toffee cake dessert and the Boston Cream Pie Dessert at LTT. We loved them both. Enjoy your up coming trip.

LTT is one of my DH's faves so we always go. We went for lunch in June. The pot roast was to die for. So tender and you did not need a knife to cut it. I thought the sides were also good. It's like traditional Thanksgiving food. Stuffing, green beans, rolls, etc. I think for lunch you can also order al la cart so you don't have to get the all-you-can-eat feast. I think it would be a good choice. -Amanda

I'd go with LTT! The food is awesome! love the turkey/stuffing etc....but my fave is the pot roast and ooey gooey toffee cake. Mmmmmmmmmm. :cloud9:

Most definitely do LTT for lunch. It's one of our favorite places largely because of the amazingness that is ooey gooey toffee cake, but everything else is really good too. Of course they have the Thanksgiving platter option, but their a la carte entrees are also very good esecially the fish and chips and the colony salad. BoG is a decent counter service, but I'd pick LTT any day of the week

Based on my experiences with both lunch meals, BOG hands down has LTT beat in the atmosphere dept., but thats where it ends. LTT food is way better, at least for lunch. Cant speak where dinner is concerned since I have never eaten at BOG at night

If your Deluxe DP is TS credits, then I would definitely not waste it on BOG QS lunch. Go to LTT.

oh, i loved BOG lunch. Can't speak to the dining plan aspect, but the lunch I had there in March was fantastic. Roast beef sandwich was stellar, and of course you can't beat the atmosphere. :)

I haven't been to LTT but have been to BOG for lunch many times. I've heard good reviews of LTT lunch & your credit would be much better used there. BOG lunch is a solid quick service credit. But it is rushed, hectic & a 2nd best choice to LTT lunch.
