I read the reports of breakfast & dinner @ CP but, how's lunch?

The menu on allears is rather general - DH & DS are very picky eaters...what have you seen lately on the buffet?

Now that Cindy's is ALL pkg's we need a new fav. for late lunch.

We like it a lot for lunch. There's your typically lunch fare--salads and cold cuts and the like. There's also a nice assortment of different hot dishes--a nice salmon, a green thai curry chicken, a carving station, veggies. We always find it a pleasant, tasty lunch!

We had a fantastic lunch at CP in November 2005, tons to choose from, both DS(5) and DD(7) are very picky eaters, the found plenty to eat. They have pizza and chicken fingers and a huge assortment of adult food - some really yummy specials, I think was carved beef or something like that when we were there. A great dessert bar as well.

We just had lunch there in Dec & I was so pleasantly surprised with how good it was! I don't really go much for buffets, but we had the Grandsons with us & thought they'd have fun with Pooh & the Gang. Turned out to be one of the best buffets I've had in WDW. (Being there first seating ensured fresh food, that helped alot)

The salads were wonderful. I loved that there were so many options for people who don't want huge quantities of meats. The braised Kale and Thai Chicken were real stand-outs.The salmon and spoonbread were also very good.

I would actually go back to this buffet again even without kids.

Spoonbread in general is a batter bread baked in a casserole dish - Not kneaded, not enough gluten to hold it together like a regular yeast bread.

At CP lunch, the spoonbread is a moist, almost souffle - like cornbread.
