Lunch at Whispering Canyon

We will be staying at WL for first time in Oct. and have a ps for lunch on day. Is lunch a good choice, or should we try breakfast or dinner in order to enjoy the festivities? In other words--has anyone done lunch here and know whether they do all the fun things that have been posted here during lunch. Any info is appreciated.

We had lunch there last year and they sure do have fun with you! My husband asked for more soda and they brought him a HUGE mug to drink out of. My son asked for a straw and they brought out a 3 foot straw . Some people said they were cilly at the next tables and they got blankets to wrap themselves in!

Very entertaining and the food was great!

We did lunch there on a Sunday last Oct and really enjoyed it, so much so that we plan on eating there again this year. We thought the food and atmosphere were great. My husband especially loved the all you can eat skillet. One nice thing about lunch if you're watching your budget is that you can get a lot of the same menu items as at dinner, but pay quite a bit less. I don't remember it being super rowdy or anything when we were there, but they had the pony races for the kids and the servers were definitely pulling some of their "antics".

I love lunch here. It has not ever been real crowded and the food is great. They have a chicken breast sandwich with cheese and bacon and espresso BBQ sauce that is awesome. They called it something else more recently but ask for a Doc Willits and see if the server knows what it is!

We just spent this week at WL. We never had a PS or needed one. All meals are good, but we enjoyed dinner the best because of the interaction with the CM's and the children. Hope you get to see a Pony Race.
Far as we were concerned, between WC and Roaring Forks Food Court there was not realy a reson to go anywhere else.
