I was thinking of a late as possible lunch here for our big Epcot day - our first park day - what do you think? My DH likes steak and I've heard this is good - can't go to the yachtclub or shula's - will have ten month old and 6YO dds with us

We used to always eat there for a late lunch and it was great. Then they moved the maple glazed petit filet to the dinner menu and we just had to switch to dinner!

So, the steak is good, eh? I thought the French dip sounded great and I know my DH will want to try some form of steak - I am trying to keep us at one PS / day because I know how busy it will be during the first week of April without PS. Now, I'll have to talk to my TA and book it if possible. Thanks!

We have been going to LeCellier for lunch on our last few trips. There is a good variety of foods available - so if you want Steak its available or if you want a sandwich that is available as well.

Is the kids menu the same for lunch and dinner?

We had lunch at Le Cellier last week--no PSs, just walked right up. I did see a few families with small children there. I loved Le Cellier.the atmosphere is cozy and warm. The cheese soup is every bit as good as you've heard.(Incidentally, the recipe is in the new Cookbook they sell, the big blue & white one) We split a shrimp salad sandwich--with an order of fries, a salad, and bread sticks it was plenty. I had never even seen this restaurant before, but you can bet we we return next time. :goodvibes

We ate there last week as well with no PS arranged. Our wait was 25 minutes, so we went to the O Canada! show and our table was ready when we returned. The cheese soup is wonderful and our server told us we could pick up the recipe from the receptionist on our way out (which I forgot to do! ). I had a hamburger (it is called a steak burger and I won't argue with that description) with fries and it was wonderful! DH had a steak and he loved it. Highly recommended!

If you go make sure your daughter orders the "Chocolate Moose". It actually looks like a moose. Very cute and delicious. I think it is the best dessert bargain at WDW.

Yes, yes, yes, she must order the chocolate moose! :cloud9: My DS ordered that last year at our lunch there, he was 8 and still talks about that dessert. It had maple leaf sugar cookies for antlers and blueberries for eyes, it was so cute. My older DD - 11 had ordered a smore dessert that came with toasted marshmallows rolled in rainbow sprinkles on a skewer towering over the dessert. I wish I had taken a photo.

We plan to go there for dinner next time although lunch was good. I did have the french dip and we shared cheese soup and pretzel bread.

Good choice for lunch - I'm happy with Cheese Soup & the breadsticks, saving room for the Creme Brulee for dessert....
We'll be having lunch there again this coming trip.

YES the steak is that good. I don't eat a whole lot of red meat (not against it, just don't) and I always have one of the steaks on the menu. And my 16 year old is a steak fanatic and he love's the place.

If you like mushrooms, get the buttered mushrooms for your steak---out of this world! My mouth is watering and just thinking I still have 6 1/2 weeks until our next PS at LeCellier!

Thanks for all the comments. I have a PS there in March and my DH can't wait. We love steak and haven't gone there yet. We have a 2 and 3 year old, so we thought lunch might be a better option for us - and for other people who want to have a nice steak dinner.

What is the Chocolate Moose? Besides the Sugar cookies that look like antlers, what is the rest of it? A cake, or what?
