Erin - your idea for new goals for the second half of the month is great. You've been doing a great job this half of the month. Keep up the great work. I hope you enjoyed the nice weather we had the past few days - it looks like we're getting some cooler weather again.

OK, let's update the stats:

1. :D Vitamins:3/13
2. :D Water: 3/13 This one was tough yesterday.
3. :D Exercise 3/13 Got in a walk at lunch up the street to the bank. DH came with me--that was a special treat!
4. :D Food 3/13 This one was rocky--used more flex than I had planned, but I'm still in the game.

Today:

1. Gotta do this still
2. None yet
3. Hitting the treadie in a second, walked the dog already
4. Food: b=5, s will be 1, l will be 10, dinner will be 7. I'm going for no flex at all today.

I've lost a pound, so I'm down to 163 again. I'm encouraged by that, even though my eating wasn't the stellar yesterday.

We'll have to plan something, MeMe. . .maybe we can get Doreen to come join us. . .maybe MelanieC? What about Stephanie--she's close. Maybe we could have a little DIS meet! :D Maryann, if you read this, maybe you could come, too?

Feeling a little tired after yesterday's long day, but I'm feeling blessed by all the friendly support here. Thank you, girls. :D

Yes, I think we've got it going on: WISH DIS meet on May 8th! Only one problem, though. I have to work until 11:45 and won't be able to get anywhere until afternoon. Do you think we can work around that? Let the planning begin!!!!!!

Doreen, we ARE in this together, so I promise that today I'll :drinking:, but you have to promise me that you'll get in some form of exercise--maybe a walk, if you have sunshine? :cool1:

I think that it's great that you are organizing a healthy WISH walking meet.

Oh, well, 3 out of 4 isn't too bad. I caved last night under my fatigue and DDs tears over a school issue. Weighed in at 162, however, so feel good that I've lost a couple. Hopefully it'll hold 'til tomorrow and I can put my 30 lb. clippie back in my siggie. When I had that big clock, I deleted it.

So, it's a new day, and I know what I'm supposed to do. I'm asking God for the strength and conviction to do it because I'm really tired and today's a long day. I spend the morning at a nearby preschool, meet with one of our teachers, and teach lessons and classes until 6:30. By 7 I should be at DDs school for the National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony :D, then after that :eek: we go to a recital/concert and the high school that one of DDs choirs is singing at. I'm just going to ride it all out and whistle a happy tune!:rolleyes1 Did I mention that when I get home tonight I have to sew DDs uniform for a concert tomorrow?????:teeth:

Gosh, it's later than I thought. I'd better get going. I'll try to check in tonight if I'm not :faint: .

Beth I like the way you think!!! I agree, Erin - relaxing with a glass of wine this evening sounds heavenly! Try to stay calm and centered amid the chaos and busyness. I'll be sending calming vibes your way!

Don't stress over your food today - you've got enough going on and realistically, you can't do it all. No need to binge, but don't be too strict about your food, OK?

Drink your water, say your prayers, breathe deeply and rely on God to give you the strength to do all that needs to be done. You don't have to be perfect, just "good enough!".

Erin, I posted a thread on the main WISH board about the WISH Walk in Doylestown on May 8th at 2 PM! I'm excited about getting together again for some good times with good friends!
 
Oooh, I'm excited about the WISH walk. It'll be fun to see everyone and get in a good long walk. I hope it's easier for me than it was in October.

I can't tell everyone how I appreciate all the support you gave me for my crazy day yesterday. It helped so much. When I was feeling stressed I'd think of all of your voices of calm and kindness and I'd have to smile. Thank you so much.:grouphug: .

I'm kind of out of it this morning--just wiped. I have the cable guy trying to come again--this is the 3rd appointment in as many weeks to get cable in DDs room. Let's hope 3rd time is a charm. Anyway, I have to straighten up the house, get over to the drs. office, and then off to work, but I hope to get in a short walk today and will drink lots of water.

Holding steady at 162. I get to keep my clippie.:D Feeling less bloated and more like my "new" self.

HI Sweetie! I'm glad that you are feeling a bit better today. It is amazing how quickly the time is filled up during the day isn't it? Dh and I were talking about this last night - we had the whole weekend free until yesterday when we started getting phone calls and figured out all the things we needed to get done. Now we feel that we have no time to ourselves.

I hope you have a great day - and YEAH on keeping the clippie!:thewave: (I love this one).

I'm in for the Carribbean Beach. waiting for Kamy to give all the info. We stayed there for our honeymoon, it's fantastic. I was also liking the all stars, but I'd rather stay with your guys. I can't wait to meet you on the 8th, so far the date looks good to me.

Gee, yesterday turned into another run-around-every-single minute day, but today should calm down a bit. I work this morning and will run some errands, but I see a chair and a book in my future.:) The darn cable guy never did show, but at least the house got straightened up!

Yesteray I let myself go off plan (I think it involved beer and pretzels at 10:30)--the evening after weigh in is always the best--but today I hope to really tow the line. After work last night I went to the mall and got some new capri pants, all size 10:Pinkbounc and I want to make sure I stay in them!

DD was at a sleepover last night and is at an all day rehearsal today. She needs a couple of new things, so we'll be back at the mall later in the day. I don't know how she manages it, but she always has the energy to shop!
