YESTERDAY WAS A
DAY!
Here's the plan for today:
1. Devotions
Daily Thoughts:
A Time to Think:
It's not good enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required. -Winston Churchill
To Act:
Put aside your fear of failure and replace it with effort towards your goals.
To Pray:
Lord, thank You for the unique ways in which You guide me.
2. Vitamins
3. Water--8 oz. done
4. Exercise--Mickey and I walked the walk--1.25 miles
5. Food--breakfast was 5.5 points
6. Scale
I'm determined to stay on program again today. Fruits, veggies, and healthy snacks are part of the plan. Work-wise, I've got to finish the choreography, the set design, and cut out lots of little Mickey Mouse heads for the kids' hats. I'm excited and ready to get this camp going! First, though, I've got to get to church and to the store so that we have some healthy foods in the house for the week.
to all,
Erin
Onward, downward, UPWARD!
Edit:
I almost forgot!
1. I've read my devotions 9 out of 9 days.
2. I've taken my vitamins 8 out of 9 days.
3. I've had 6-8 glasses of water 7 out of 9 days.
4. I've exercised 9 out of 9 days.
5. I've eaten in a healthy way 5 out of 9 days.
6. I've faced the scale on 9 out of 9 days.
Edit #2: 32 oz. of water done, lunch 5.5 pts.=11 so far for the day.
Edit #3: Working on the last of my water. HAve stayed within my points all day. My family is so supportive. Thank goodness for those guys!
I'm going to go have some berries w/lite whipped topping and then I'll call this a 6
day!
Tomorrow I'm going to have to get up early--around 5:30--in order to get my healthy day on track. I'm going to walk the dog around the circle then head over to the park for a 2.5er. I'll come home and pack lunches for DD and me and then check in here at the WISH. We'll be at the studio by 8:30 so we're there in plenty of time before the campers. In the afternoon, I'm going to try to teach (from 3 to 8???), but I'll call and cancel kids if I feel too tired. I'll see how it goes.
Food plan for tomorrow:
breakfast will be coffee w/cream (from Dunkin Donuts at 2.5) and my english muffin w/pb (3), snack will be an apple (2), lunch will be yogurt and almonds (5). Afternoon snack will be veggies, grapes, and cheese (3), and dinner will be a McDonald's salad (9). Dessert will be berries w/whipped topping when I come home (1) or jello w/topping (0).
OK, got this taken care of.
Your comment below, Doreen, got me thinking. . .it isn't easy, but it's not too hard either. My family's supportive, I feel God's presence, and I keep remembering how I feel when I see the scale spiraling upward out of control. I know what I have to do, and I must do it if I'm going to climb out of this "heavy" rut I'm in right now. And, as you know, I'm determined to care for myself during this, the busiest and probably most stressful week of the summer. Flood + camp + DMIL's heart surgery=
if I'm not good to ME.
