What a

way to start my day, Doreen!

Your visit has brought motivation and

. Thanks!
OK, I'm up for the challenge (and I especially like the idea of the camp-being-exercise

)! Today I'm planning on a 3.75 mile walk as soon as I'm done here.
Yesterday was a

! My 1st for July!

That means my stats are as follows:
1. I've read my devotions 1 out of 1 day.
2. I've taken my vitamins 1 out of 1 day.
3. I've had 6-8 glasses of water 1 out of 1 day.
4. I've exercised 1 out of 1 day.
5. I've eaten in a healthy way 1 out of 1 day.
6. I've faced the scale on 1 out of 1 day.
So now I'm determined to make today ANOTHER 6-er. Here's the plan:
1. Devotions

Our purpose in life is to worship and enjoy God.
2. Vitamins
3. Water--the first of 2 32 oz. mugs has been started!
4. Exercise--3.75 is the plan
5. Food--breakfast is 4. Snack will be my yogurt at 2. Lunch will be tuna (not eaten yesterday) at 6. P.M. snack will be veggies. Dinner will be light, but I don't know what yet.
6. Scale--180
Yesterday I stayed on track, but I've decided to switch my weigh-in day to Friday. Friday will be my free day, like Amanda. I'll endeavor to not binge and make decent choices, but knowing I have a day where I don't worry about it, will help me, I think. And since Friday seems to be my hardest day, this lets some of the pressure off. Also, having 6 days AFTER Friday to recover from any mistakes will help my weigh-ins (I'm hoping

).
I'm glad that you had a good trip, Doreen. I think ours will be nice, too. . .I'm looking forward to it, almost as much as OUR TRIP TO WDW 9/29-10/4!

We just couldn't pass up the free dining promotion, so we're going to take Liz out of school for 2 days and go down to celebrate her birthday. The air fare is purchased, the ressie is set: WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!

Of course, we might get blown away by a hurricane, but hey, what can I say? We're risk-takers!
Seriously, though, I think that knowing we're going to WDW will help me to give my in-laws more of the caretaking they'll need from me.
So, enough of the chatter, I've got to get myself out to the park and onto the walking trail. Then it's off to the studio to work ALL DAY on camp. Yesterday was a total bust work-wise--went to the
travel agent (waste of time) and then to see "War of the Worlds." DD and I shook through the whole movie and then again last night during a tremendous lightning and thunder storm. (If you've seen the movie, you'll know why!) Anyway, now I've got twice as much work to do, but that's OK, it'll all get done.
Tomorrow I play at church and then leave for the annual camping trip in the mountains.

What can I say? It's one night, once a year. . .I'll grin and bear it.
I'm moving forward, into the day, looking Upward for my strength to stay on plan!
Erin
Edit: finished my 3.75

and have had my snack. I'm starting mug #2!
Edit: Smilie for water, too! As a matter of fact, I've had a lot! I want to eat something (it's 10:30 and I'm tired and hungry), but if I do, I'll fall off plan, I just know it.
Plan for tomorrow: get up EARLY (say 6 a.m.) so that I can walk from 6:30-7:30 at the park. That'll give me shower and "get ready" time before church, and it'll get my 3.75 in. I think I'm going to get the clothes in the dryer and hit the hay!
