Good morning, WISH friends. Thanks for coming to visit me, everyone. I'm going to be so busy at work the next week or so that I don't know what kind of posting I'm going to have time for, so please don't think I've forgotten you if I don't visit your journal. You're in my thoughts.
Yesterday was another long day with a late ending. Both Tuesday and Wednesday nights I didn't get home until 9:30. Today will be a little better; ETA will be around 8 p.m. I'll leave for work around 8:30 a.m.
I'm having a hard time sticking to my plan because of this additional work stress, but I've still got it in the back of my mind. . .I've made poor food choices and am drinking coffee by the quart, but I'm hanging in there with a
. Here's the plan:
1. Devotions 23/31
2. Vitamins--haven't taken them yet
3. Water--holding at 21/31. Have had some this morning, though.
4. Exercise--no plans for today and tomorrow's are shaky at best because of my work load. Holding at 16/31
5. Food--still holding at 16/31
6. Scale--holding at 25/31; wouldn't even look at it this morning
I really feel like my whole exercise/food routine is more than I can do for the next couple of days. I know that that's not how it's supposed to be--it should be a priority, but taking the time to exercise is using up time that I need for planning and preparation. We have a new semester beginning, my rescheduled piano event from last weekend, a special performance at church, and some other projects due. I need to be giving out emotionally to a number of people who work with us as well as my family and students. . .I don't have time for myself at the moment.
I know how out of balance this sounds, but I know that it's only going to be for a short time and then I'll get back into my routine. While I SOUND stressed, I actually feel like I'm in a
place, knowing what I've got to do and getting it done. I'm looking forward to getting back to my exercise/lo carb WW lifestyle by the end of next week. It helps to know my WISH friends are there as support. Thanks, guys.I've got to run. . .

your way to help you accomplish all that needs to be done. Have a great day, Erin!
Erin, that there are only so many hours in the day.
Find small ways to nurture yourself through the busy times. Enlist the help of DH & DD - ask them to cut up veggies for you or pack your snacks for the day, do a load of wash for you, etc.

Do the hustle!!
How about "industrial-strength exercise"?? Neither of those terms make it sound like it looks nice but they sure evoke a feeling of "get in there, do some serious work and get it done!". Hey, I'm trying.....
Would some cheerleaders help to liven the place up?
We'll both go to bed feeling good about our efforts!
for facing the scale!
