I read in Prevention magazine (while eating my salad) that 30 minutes of brisk walking burns 120 calories--the equivalent of 2!!!! (only 2!!!!) oreos. Guess that takes the idea of a exercise-earned splurge out of the picture, doesn't it?
Somehow, when it counts as 2 Points, it seems like more to me.
Had a
morning at the preschool and feel beat this afternoon. I think I'm going to walk over to D. Donut and get a cup or quart
of coffee. I haven't had p.m. coffee in about a week, but today I'm
