Luggage Tags

I guess we're really really lucky then. We got both the ones with the castle(they didn't have our name though) and they ME ones Believe me I'm not fussing though!!

Okay, just called CRO (I had to make a change to my ressie anyway), and he said that yes, everyone gets the luggage tags but they are different depending on if you're using the Magical Express or not. I don't know if that explains the names being on them or not, but I'd be happy to get them with or without the names!

We booked ours online through Disney Travel. We got a package with our comfirmation, airline tickets, cool castle luggage tags (one per person) and then we got the CD/DVD they send to anyone requesting info. I hope we get our ME tags. That is about it though. Even know it isn't much I love getting a disney envelope in the mail.

We booked everything BUT the airline tickets through CRO. I don't think we'll get the cool luggage tags because of that. We are getting ME luggage tags though, but not until 2 weeks ahead of time. I hope they come!

I booked through Dreams Unlimited and haven't gotten Jack yet! I emailed my travel agent, because we were told when we booked the package that we would get the luggage tags. She said that she called Disney and they told her that their mailing room was behind and to call back monday (which will be only 11 days before our trip). It will have to be sent to Dreams and then to us. I think this is a joke, them telling that their mail room is behind when I can see on these boards that other people going AFTER us already have their stuff.

Sorry to hear you are having such problems. I am sure you aren't the only one and after all they are just luggage tags. The trip will kinda off set the fact that you might not get the tags ...don't ya think.

OK, we booked since last year and we're driving, the send ME letter and just the other day the tags!

consider yourself lucky to have gotten the ME ones. I sure hope we get ours BEFORE we leave.

We've been back now for three weeks and we still have not gotten ours...

No problems though with the transfer. Just show the "white gloved" CMs your vouchers and they walk you right through what you need to do.

I don't think the name thing has anything to do with the resort you're staying at - we're at POR and there were no names on ours. I still think they're awesome though :

Do you get luggage tags even if your not flying....it seems like when we booked a package a few years ago and we were driving, we got luggage tags anyway. It's been a few years since we booked a package, been using AP's the last few, so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

We booked our trip (hotel & tickets only) at the end of May. We are going July 20. We first got a confirmation letter in the mail postmarked June 2 and then we got a package with vouchers and castle luggage tags postmarked June 9. I'm giving you the postmark dates because we live overseas and have an APO address. It takes about a week to 10 days for us to get mail from the U.S.

We booked our trip by calling Disney and we got our airline tickets separately. We haven't received our ME luggage tags yet.

My main concern isn't the luggage tags, it is the information that comes with the tags showing that the vacation is paid for in full. I have never gotten ANYTHING showing that the room, tickets, and meals are paid for.

We got our package two weeks ago (we're leaving on the 6th). We got the tags with the castle but our names aren't on them. We didn't book our flights via WDW Travel, just the resort and tickets. We haven't received our Magical Express stuff yet - but I called this week and they said they were still behind. She said I may get them on time but she couldn't tell me when they were sent. She said things will be fine and suggested I put identifying things on my luggage, and use the same thing on all of them.

I'm really hoping for the tags - but they are coming to Canada

Pixzie, hope you have a great trip. Ours is the first week of Sept. We live just up the road from you in Gainesville. Have a safe trip. We are anxiously awaiting our turn to get our tags, another month and a few weeks to go.

I booked the day the Free Dining came out - and I've received NOTHING except an invoice. Booked room, tickets, ME, and dining (no air). In the past, I've always received at least the little brochure with a confirmation letter.
