Luggage Tags question

When filling out your information, do you add your cell phone number?
We never have, but was wondering if anyone does.

Yes, I do put my home # and cell # on the tag. I do not put my address on the tag. I will usually put where we are staying. Just the name of the resort, though.

i usually ONLY put my cell phone number on my luggage.

basically cause I can never remember my house number. heheheh

I always only list my name & cell phone number.

I don't list my address because then I'd basically be saying "Hey, here's an empty house to rob!" to everyone who sees & handles my luggage

I usually put my last name, office address, and cell phone number. That way if the luggage is somehow shipped back, it'll go to the office where someone will sign for it. I put cell phone number because what good is it to call my home number when no one's home.

I put home & cell phone numbers. I also putmy parents' phone number, since they are older and are home a lot.

It is a good idea to put a copy of your itinerary in your suitcase in case it is lost.

My mom puts her business card in our luggage tags. I don't know if they have her cell number on it, but they have her work number on it. The most important thing though is to NEVER put your home address on a luggage tag. As a previous poster said, it is telling someone that there is an empty house and basically inviting them to rob it or do as they please with it.

Totally never thought of that! I always put my address and cell phone on my luggage tags-from now on I'll leave the address off. I also take a 3 by 5 card and write our info on it, then tape it really good to the inside of the suitcase. I put our cell number on it, because when we're on vacation, that's the phone we have.
