Luggage size restrictions?

DH and I are considering doing the 7-day cruise at some point this fall. Since this will require more clothing than the 3-day that we've been on so far, I've looked to see if there are any restrictions on luggage sizes, but all I could find on the DCL web site was the following:
Each Guest may bring aboard the ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge, not to exceed two bags per person.
So, define "reasonable" :p We'll be driving to the port and the big stuff would be checked at the curb, so we don't have to worry about airline restrictions or trying to cram anything through the x-ray machine. Anybody know if there is a restriction on size?

P.S. the bag I'm thinking about specifically is about 2 inches too big to be allowed on a plane, but I'm not trying to bring a trunk or anything like that ;)

In October we brought an extra large LLBean duffle bag and it weighed atleast 75 pds. They had no problem with this. We also had 2 other large suitcases and 2 more smaller bags. It was me, DH and 2 DDS.

We've never had anything rejected for size. I have a 30 inch bag onwheels.....carry ons have to fit in the scanner.

The two bag per person restriction...does that include your carryon? Or can each person check two bags AND bring one carryon?

But if you fly, remember your bags must not weigh more than 50 pounds each, or you will pay extra.
