We are counting the days down to our trip where we leave on April 28th. I spaced out last night and TOTALLY forgot to sign in and get my FastPass+ reservations. So in a panic I signed in this morning at 7:00am and managed to get everything I thought I wanted. I even got Elsa and Anna, although not for the day I was hoping for, and the time was reasonably late in the evening.
Well when I got to work and started entering everything in to my spreadsheet (yes, I AM that nuts. I don't know HOW scheduling these FastPasses got past me last night!!) I realized that I used some passes on the wrong days, and had to go in and rearrange. So I spend a little time doing that this morning, and I had no problem.
I am hoping that this means that crowds are going to be light (even though there is a cheer competition there the weekend we are in Fl) and the trip will be a dream come true!!!
It should also be noted that when I went to schedule a FP for Wednesday April 29th, it said that BTM is closed for refurbishment, but it allowed me to schedule the FP for the following Sunday....

Your trip will be a dream come true as long as you are happy. You got the FPs you wanted and I assume any dining ressies. As for the rest, take the days in stride, enjoy all the little things Disney has to offer. And don't sweat the small stuff. It'll be magical.

You are completely right!! We did get all the dining reservations we needed, including lunch BOG. And even if we didnt, we would be at Disney together, which is enough for me.

Other than A&E an 7DMT, nothing is really that scarce at 59 days out, even when it's busy. We went in the summer and had no problem rearranging our fastpasses at 3 weeks out. Fastpass availability is not a good indicator of crowd levels.

Having said that, I wouldn't expect late April/early May to be very crowded.

Even when we have traveled during the busiest times we have never had trouble getting the FP+s we wanted, even a day or two after our window opened. We have never wanted/needed an Anna & Elsa FP+, but getting everything else was no problem. We even got all of the FP+s we wanted for Christmas-New Year week at 30 days out. I did have to stalk the system a bit for our Mine Train FP+s, but we ended up with 4 of them over the course of our trip.

Good for you! I wouldn't take it as an indicator of crowd levels. I think the lack of availability for a vast majority of things is much less than you would think just from reading here. I do think you're lucky in A&E, but not surprised at all that everything else was available.

We are going at the same time as you. I had to wait till last night to book our fastpasses, but thankfully we were able to get what we wanted as well. I am cautiously optimistic that the crowds will not be very bad!

That's great that you got what you wanted! I was pleasantly surprised. We haven't traveled to Disney since FastPass+ was a thing. So the anxiety about getting them was INTENSE!!! lol.
