Lucky Nugget Saloon OR Silver Spur Steakhouse

During our next trip we would like to visit one of the two restaurants, but I can not decide witch one:

Lucky Nugget Saloon OR Silver Spur Steakhouse.

I red on Renate’s homepage that the Saloon is not that good. I would prefer the Saloon but tell me what you think.

Ive never eaten at the lucky nugget but I believe its a buffet type meal. The silver spur is one place we always go to when at DLP. We enjoy the service (but it gets a bit hectic when full - seems to take ages to get served or get the bill). We have had cold chips a few times with the steaks but simply returned them and they came back fresh and hot. They serve childrens and teens meals too which is a help for fussy kids.
The little sheriff meal cost 10 euros; the cowboy (up to 16 yrs) cost 15 euros and I had the set meal for 25 euros (november 2005).

Only been to Silver Spur which was some time ago.
It was slow but to be honest I find all the restaurants slow you just except they operate on DLP time
We had a lovely meal and DD who was 2 at the time was well looked after by CM's.

I would choose the Lucky Nugget, I've never eaten there but the reviews have all been good. I was hoping to try it on my last visit but we love the Plaza so much that we ate there most nights. Next time I will def be eating at the Lucky Nugget

I haven't tried the Silver Spurs Steakhouse but would thoroughly recommend the Lucky Nugget. There is plenty of food and good character interaction plus some live entertainment.

I would also recommend the Lucky Nugget but then I would because I love eating at character meals!
