Hi just returned fron dec 5th thru dec 9th , had a great trip AND THE FOOD was great. On my pastrip i really enjoyed the pork ramen from lucky fortune. So this time there was something wrong with the noodles, It as if they werent cooked right and they kind of melted in your mouth in a weird way, I was disappointed and was teh only bad food item i ordered the whole time, I am wondering has anyone had the ramen lately and im hoping that it was just a one off and i really liked it before, the lady behind me ordered 4 of them but i dont know if she had the same experiance. it was crowded so i didnt get in line to complain.

I've never had ramen at the Lucky Fortune Cookery at DCA but the only time I ate there I had the rice bowl which was good but I'm a ramen fan and what I think happened to you is that they probably changed the brand of ramen they use. Because the ramen I usually eat is Maruchan Ramen which is so great but I have tried many different brands and noticed the same taste like you in some ramen. What I recommend you to do is call DCA and voice your complaint and ask what brand of ramen they now use and they'll probably give you a coupon for your next DCA food purchase

I think email would be the best way to provide after visit feedback, as it might be a never ending automated system to try and get a CM on the phone or correct department:

I had them on Nov 1st for the first time and much to my surprise it was really good. The noodles definitely didn’t melt in my mouth. They were firm and pleasantly chewy. Definitely not what you described. I’m going back next weekend. I’ll try it again and report back.

So I was in DCA yesterday. Tried to order the ramen. It wasn’t available on the mobile order page even though it showed up on the menu. Got the beef burrito instead. I forgot to check if it was available in the standby order line when I picked it up (had multiple orders at different places to juggle). Maybe you’re onto something and they have a problem sourcing the right noodles and they pulled the item.

Side comment on Luck Fortune Cookery. I recently got the Spicy Szechuan Chicken and holy chile peppers it was **spicy** I like my food with a kick, but this was painfully spicy. Won't be ordering that again!!

Not related, but I had the ramen at Trader Sam's and was pleasantly surprised---it was delicious! I highly recommend it.
