Assuming that LTT stays a character meal, does anyone have opinions on choosing that or Donald's breakfast as a character meal? We're hoping to meet Goofy, and beyond Chef Mickey's is there any other place to go?

I haven't done Donalds so I can't say anything about it but we do like LTT. We enjoy the food (except the mac 'n cheese :confused3 ) Of course, LTT character meal is only at dinner.

Goofy also appears at Chef Mickeys. Breakfast and Dinner Haven't done that one either.

The best place to meet Goofy is the Cape May breakfast, the best character interaction we ever had was at the Cape...and he is in his swim trunks!

The food is awesome too

If you mean the Donald's breakfast at Animal Kingdom, I don't know what to say about it. The only time I went to Donald's Breakfastosaurus was before it changed/moved. When I went it was in the McDonalds in DinoLand. The food was okay, but the character interaction really wasn't that good at all. They stayed at the table for like 10 seconds and one of the characters didn't even come to our table.
LTT dinner is a must-do every trip now. I think the food is delicious, all of it, even the mac & cheese ;) and the character interaction is the best I've had at a character meal. Every time I've been there, the characters have come around to our table at least twice. One time Minnie and Goofy even stopped 3times at our table. I highly reccomend LTT.

Thanks for the quick answers! I really want to do LTT for dinner, but the rumor about the characters leaving makes me nervous. I'll have to check out Cape May, I have read good things about it. We did Chef Mickey's last time, and while it wasn't too bad, I don't think we'll return.

I love LTT. The character interaction is fantastic. My last trip we saw all the characters at least twice and a few three times. Cape May was nice also. However, Cape May is quite large and the characters have a lot of tables to visit. We waited a long time for our ADR, although it was for a group of 16. Once seated no characters came until we were done eating. The food was good at both places but IMHO character interaction is better at LTT.

I enjoyed Donald's Safari Breakfast, the food was good and the character interaction was great...my son got to see the characters 2x and ever 30 mins they had a musical parade...Goofy actually took my son hand to be next to him at the parade. Cape May Cafe was great Character interaction too...they came around our table 3x except Minnie she came 2x. But if I had to choose one I would recommend Donald Safari b/c the food was better and the kids loves the dance and parade.
Enjoy your trip.

I thought Chef Mickey was ok but we did it 2x and we don't need to go back unless my son ask. This trip I ask him and he said he wants the one in the Animal Kingdom and the Pooh lunch (CP).

My vote is for Donalds. The parade was fun and daisy is also there and you rarely see her. The food was excellent! The food was good at LTT but it was very crowded. Tables seemed to be on top of each other.

According to Allears.net Donald's Breakfastosaurus was discontinued in 2007. Allears.net is pretty darn accurate with menus, etc.

You might want to look into other breakfasts for classic Disney characters.
