I would really like to try these 2 places on our upcomming trip DS would not be eating though,PICKY eater. (he would eat CS before) I did this last year at LeCellier and it was fine w/disney, but these 2 are family style so Im not sure If would have to use a credit for him:confused3 ???

All I know is, and correct me if I'm wrong, they charge you $5.00 at LTT if you don't eat. It's an experience charge or something to that effect since it's a character meal. Not sure about Ohana's though.

Ugh! I just called the dining # and she really couldn't help me she just said oh they probably wont charge I should wait to see when we get there:confused3 I asked her for the # to Ohanna she didnt know it...

I believe you can order him a kids meal there, cstrips, grilled chez etc I am sure there is something your son would eat from the kids menu.

I just looked at the menus and there is a kids menu. :cool1: That is good news I really wanted to go there.

Just so you're prepared, at Ohana, if you want a regular kids meal, make sure you tell them the ASAP. They evidently take a while to cook and we were almost done with our meals before my DS got his last year and he wasn't happy. They also have a cool snow cone dessert for kids that comes in a bucket you can keep. I don't know what their policy is, but we asked for one last year because the kids in our party wouldn't eat the bananas foster or whatever it was. The waiter GRUDGINGLY brought them out. I don't know if he wasn't supposed to or just wasn't happy to have to make an extra trip (which was my guess). Put a damper on the experience. We are going to give them a third try this trip though. Hopefully the service will be better because the atmosphere, games and food are incredible!!

last year we have do 2 o 3 meals in table service restaurants with 2 kids and they have eat before in a cs and no charge for the childs or adults that no eat, hope that this will help by

:confused3

Last year we all got sick and the day we went to CM for breakfast my daughter was as white as a ghost, (she had already been sick x 3 that morning). We were on the DDP and when we sat down we told the waitress that she wasn't eating anything at all and she only wanted water due to being so ill. The waitress said no problem and we were never charged. When we got the bill to sign she even came over with a banana for my daughter to take with her if she felt better later on. The waitress obviously knew we weren't lying to her. I know the situation is a little different but I can't see how you could leave your child in a hotel by themselves and you go out for your meal with the rest of your family. Disney must run across this alot especially since WDW is famous for people getting sick due to the amount of people that travel to and from there on a regular basis. I can't see why you would be charged. Best of luck and have fun.

i made all my adr's on friday and the CM I spoke to told me to buy my ds a counter service and bring it into the resturant(LTT) with me so he will be able to eat with us:eek: I told her I wasnt comfortable with doing this And she kept insisting that I should, she said they wouldnt mind at all, im not doing it though, he's 13(almost 14) and is totally cool with hanging with us while we eat he will eat CS before or after(whenever he is hungry) I dont think he would want to bring in a CS meal anyway he'd probably feel weird.Oh and Im hoping that the night I made the adr for is MNSSHP 9/16

Know something? Assuming your plan is not to arrive at MK three minutes before your reservation time and RUN to the restaurant - I'd stop in earlier in the day and ASK what's acceptable.
