LTT character dinner to end 01/04/09.....

just read this month's Mousesaver's newsletter and was very disappointed; this is one of DD'S favorite character meals. Also sorry to see GG will not be open for lunch after 10/05/08; another DD favorite.

LTT and GG are my 2 favorite character meals I knew about GG bc we are going in the middle of October and received a call from Disney Dining to reschedule it. This news about LTT is very upsetting though. At least we'll get one last meal there.

LTT will still serve dinner, but without characters. Garden Grill will no longer be serving lunch at all.

Totally bummed now, we dont go until Dec 09 and this was one of our choices for dining. Does anyone know if there is a listing out of any other changes for 2009 so I dont have more surprises.

We love LLT - it's our favorite character meal, and we're real bummed it's ending. We're there end of Dec/early January, and were able to make adr's for the last night available 1/3. It's kind of a goofy time, 4:30pm - we prefer to eat much later, but I'll keep trying back, just glad we'll get to do it one more time.

Is the menu changing too? or just the characters leaving?

I am soooooo sad about this! I'm doubly sad because I was late in calling for our ADRs and we can't get LTT for any of the nights we're there from 9/27 -10/4, so I guess we'll never be doing this character meal ever again. Wahhhh!

I have to hope that this means they'll add the characters to another dinner, somewhere else, though???? I hope it means something good!
