Our boys are 4 and 8 and like both. Which one has better food and/or character interaction? We'll also be doing Lilo and Stitch breakfast. I'm trying to find a character meal that will be in a park already while we're there. So we can just walk out back into the parks. On another note, what charcter dining restaurant for boys is near the grand floridian? Thanks!

Thats a toughie.

LTT has good food and the best characture interaction we have found anywhere.

Now we've only done breakfast at CP, but its definatly the best buffet at WDW. Our friends have eaten there every meal and its on their must do list.

I vote LTT :thumbsup2

I think the character interaction is much better there, and although I haven't been to CP for a while, I remember having to sit and wait for Tigger after already finishing dessert, while at LTT we usually see each charater twice by the time we're finished. I also really enjoy the food at LTT, and the way it's served family style is nice because you don't have to keep getting up & don't risk missing a character, which always seems to happen to me at the buffets!

I agree. CP is so large that it takes a while for the characters to get to you, while LLT is much smaller. If you miss a character at CP it takes a while for them to get back to you. But the food is great at CP and just good at LTT.:rotfl:

Ooh, that's a hard one. I love both of them, but I probably would have to go with LTT. The food is good there, the character interaction is good, and it is a lot less noisy then CP.

Chef Mickey's is a monorail trip away from the Grand Floridian and will provide character saturation for breakfast or dinner. It's easier to get "home" at the end of the meal from the Contemporary than from inside the Magic Kingdom, which can provide distractions. The food is on par or better than the resaurants you're already thinking of.

I think that LTT has better character interaction because it is smaller but I am not a fan of the food at dinner. Crystal Palace is one of the best buffets at Disney but you do sometimes have to wait longer for the characters. I think overall, I'd pick Crystal Palace. Or as someone else suggested, Chef Mickey's. They do a great buffet there too.
