Hi, we'll be going to WDW in June this year and my brother is on a salt-limited diet (medical necessity). Does anyone have any experience with ordering meals that are low sodium at Disney restaurants? Which restaurants did you go to? What was the procedure for getting low sodium meals? What meals were offered? Were you happy with the meals?

Any information would be helpful as we begin to plan for our meals at WDW.

Thank you in advance!

Gary

Hi,

Sorry I cannot answer, I was wondering exactly the same thing since my 6 year old daughter is also on such a diet due to cortisone.

I'm afraid if nobody answered, this looks quite hard.

I was planning to shop before coming at least for breakfast : cereals with no salt, fruit, yogourts...

Can you help me building up my shopping list at Woolworth or whatever supermarket will come my way? I explain : I'm not living in the States, I'm not allowed to import food in the US and I would like to avoid reading every single pack of whatever food I need, otherwise I'll spend my whole trip at publix!

Can you tell me the brands that do saltless dried mashed potatoes, saltless cheese, saltless cereals, bead of some sort, cakes? That would be very helpful to me!

In WDW restaurants, I suppose I will do as allergic people do : take more priority seatings than before mentionning it, maybe look for buffets? They are so cute at Disney I'msure they will do their best (especially in my case it is for a child).

Cheers! ::MinnieMo
