Just got back from a short (3 day) trip - my first to my "home" at BWV. I had planned a family gathering over Thanksgivng to be my first trip, but I got toooo excited and couldn't wait. Checked in Sun about 5PM to room 4133. Long way from the elevators, but good view of the tennis courts and Fantasmic fireworks. My only complaint was that when I checked in, I asked if there were any Boardwalk views available. Since this was a cash reservation, points would not be a factor. I was told there were rooms available, but that I filled "hole" between reservations so I couldn't have one of the rooms I wanted.
Oh well . . . . The room was clean and well kept. Got many "welcome home"s. The parks were NOT crowded - didn't wait more than 10 minutes for anything. Got to all four parks in two days, and still had time to enjoy BWV (which is like a resort on it's own). The walk to Epcot is amazingly short, as is the boat ride to MGM. Just had a great time and I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought at DVC - just wish it had been years ago. Now I'm thinking of adding on more points!
PS Does anyone know if there are any picnic tables at BWV besides the one by the quiet pool? thanks
