Love this new chicken recipe

Saw this done on America's Test Kitchen. Tried it myself a 2 months ago and have made it twice a month since. My whole family loves it and asks for it all the time. Seems complicated, but once you do it twice, it'll be much easier. I just made recipe cards for my file, so I cut and pasted it for you here :) If you have questions, feel free to pm me and I'll try to clear it up.

Baked Lemon Chicken
Take a whole chicken and remove neck and giblets from cavity. Mix 2 qts water with 1/2 cup salt and soak chicken for one hour in refrigerator. After one hour pat the chicken dry and fill cavity with 1 lemon cut in quarters along with 6 cloves of pounded garlic. Skewer cavity closed. Brush breast with butter and sprinkle with pepper and place on rack breast side down. Butter and pepper the bottom of the chicken. Roast for 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Take chicken out and flip breast side up. Add 1 cup of chicken broth and place back in oven for 35 minutes at 450 degrees. Transfer chicken, drain drippings into pan and let chicken rest on carving plate. Move oven rack to top and put on broil. Take oil out of pan and add 1 cup of chicken broth. Deglaze pan scrapping and reduce to 1 cup. Cut chicken into leg, thigh, and breast and place back in pan. Broil for 3-4 minutes. Take out chicken and serve on plates. Juice 1/2 lemon into pan, add 2 tbs butter along iwth 1 tbs chopped parsley and 1 tsp chopped tyme. Serve sauce over chicken.
