Love the Wedding Pavilion....Hate the Carpet!

Does anyone else feel the same way? I love the wood floors under the seating and the arch windows etc but I can't stand the carpet

Even though I'm single, I still like to dream about my potential Fairytale Wedding hehe. I remember seeing a picture of the WP done up for a Couture Wedding and the Aisle was covered by a runner and rose petals as was the altar and stairs. Has anyone done this? I think it might be a bit excessive as I plan on having a small wedding whenever I do get married.

That brings up another issue! I would love an outside photographer but my next favorite ceremony location after WP is France.... Ah well...lots of time to sort out my dilemas....I dont even have my prince yet

I'm with you on that one. I hate the carpet.

So I had an aisle runner put down and the heaviest amount of petal coverings I could get. You were still about to see the carpet underneath some of the petals, but it wasn't too bad.

Rumor has it the WP is getting an upgrade, so the carpet may be changed.

This is going to make me seem a touch sad....I already know my wedding colours Black, Red, White and Silver. That is why I dislike the carpet so much! Now I know I could change my mind, but I just have a vision of Bridesmaids in black dresses with white rose bouquets wrapped in red ribbon and my bouquet with red roses, pearl mickeys and white or silver ribbon. Thats so going to clash! LOL

I also heard the WP is going to go under some remoldeling in July so I'm not completely for sure but they may be changing the carpet. We could dream can't we I don't mind it all the much but im also doing the aisle runner like Melissa(skylarr20) I just love the look of rose petals covering the aisle

i think the carpet is ugly too. from all the pictures i've seen it looks so old and worn out. i mean, it's probably had thousands of weddings tread all over it, so i guess it's not surprising. i think if they remodel, something more neutral would probably be a better choice.

I covered the carpet but I did not use Disney floral.
