Love my DVC!

DH & I have been DVC members since 2005 so we have been out of the loop of making regular resort room reservations since then. Our extended family is just starting to make plans for a 2014 trip and I have been looking into room reservations for part of our family. I have had sticker shock! Wow, do I love my DVC! Just looking at the prices I am inclined to advise our family members to seriously looking into renting DVC points. DH & I have often said that we wished we had bought sooner. Now we are really happy that we bought when we did!

I totally agree; when I hear the prices on the podcasts I listen to, my eyebrows shoot up. It makes all those spreadsheet calculations feel much less crazy. Be sure to tell them to hunt for those %30 discounts. And when we see the spacious 1 BRs, we relax instantly.

We are so excited for our first trip as new DVC owners. We have a week stay in a 2br @ SSR with good friends. A weekend visiting family at the beach, then 2 nights @ AKV 1br savanna view, followed by 1br @ SSR to finish off the week.

Can't wait, DVC has made this trip very doable!

that's why we bought & we're FL residents! rates for spring break last year were very high & availability was really limited. we decided at that point it was time to buy DVC- plan ahead, not pay crazy high hotel prices, & have fun!
