Ok I need Pic and input from anyone that has ever stayed in the Garden Wing of the CR.

We stayed in the Deluxe King in the Garden Wing. When we entered the Garden Wing, it is kind of like a dark hallway--which is far from the magic of the tower. The walk wasn't far at all, and was very close to the pool. The room and mousekeeping were great, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!! We loved the room!! I don't have pictures of the hallway, just of the room. Hope this helps!!

Loved it. We really liked being close to the pool and able to walk up the stairs to our room instead of waiting for an elevator in the tower.

We had a garden wing, garden view and the view was beautiful. The wing rooms don't have balconies but we just opened the curtains to our room to see the view.

It's a covered walkway to the tower where the food court and gift shops are located. A quick and easy walk that we didn't mind at all.

I would stay there again.

I've stayed 7xs in the North garden wing (I miss that wing). We were never disappointed. We didn't have to wait for the long elevator waits, we had the outdoor pool area right close to us. We could walk right over to the MK (although that would be further from the South wing). When we were on the first floor the ducks would come and visit us every afternoon and we would feed them, but we were usually on the second floor and we loved watching the monorail glide by (we always had a western view) and could see parts of the MK, especially when it was lit up at night. It was great.

Love the wing rooms, best value for a deluxe room on the monorail. When our girls were young the wing rooms were our rooms of choice. Close to pool and playground and very reasonably priced. I remember one stay back in the early 2000s where we paid $129 a night in rarly June with the GA resident discount. My PIN code discounted tower rate for this June is $421 with tax per night! The rooms are identical to the ones in the tower and while 2nd and 3rd floor rooms don't have balconies, if you request and receive a ground floor room you get a small patio with table and chairs.

We stayed in a wing room once and felt like we were at an overpriced hotel. I didn't think the wings were anything special - not like the tower. Haven't been back to the CR since - we now love the deluxes in the Epcot area much better. Will say our stay at the GF was extremely nice - thought the Poly was too dark.

I prefer the wing rooms to the tower rooms. They are the same size, layout and decor (the only thing missing is the balcony) but they are much quieter. I had a room all the way back at the far end of the wing, and it still took less than five minutes to get to the 4th floor of the tower.

You took the words right out of my mouth!!!! I also prefer the garden wings to the tower. But, I loved the North Wing...and now it's gone. So....I bought BLT points and now stay there!!! I just think the tower rooms can be noisy.

Thank you everyone I just love your input. Were booked at BC but DH has always wanted to stay at CR . Please keep them coming.

We are booked for a deluxe garden wing room in a few weeks. I will let you know how it is and be sure to take plenty of pictures.
We have stayed in the tower before but we are looking forward to not have to walk through the lobby after being in the pool all day :thumbsup2

Is there an elevator in the garden wing or do we have to climb the stairs? It will be our first time staying at CR and I can't wait! :yay:

There is an elevator. It was slow though so we usually used the stairs.

I found my pictures: Here are the views from our room. I don't know what the room number was. Garden wing, garden view.

So I have another question ? I found a great map on bing not sure how to post it here but I would like to request the room on the end facing Bay Lake Wl area and the monorail if any one can help ? If could post the map I am sure someone would know what to ask for.Sorry if this confuses you but I would LOVE this area. I think I want 5250 if that helps ????

We stayed in the Garden Wing for our honeymoon...and it was a love/hate relationship from the moment I entered the building. Everything is older which I didn't prefer, the carpet in the hallway was tattered and the building just seemed gross. Then we entered our room and it was love. The room was sleek, very clean, and a nice size. Best room we've stayed in for our WDW vacations. BUT I would not stay there again. Too expensive for the location. The honeymoon was a splurge but if we could do it again it would not be in the Garden Wing. It is very quiet and secluded which was a plus. But the walk to the buses, monorail, and food court was not preferable. There are pros and cons, but I've found that to be true of every resort.

Stayed there several years ago and loved the location near the end elevator. At the time they were doing construction though and our view was of courtyard w/a crane and some scrubby looking plants. Would probably stay there again but would hope for a better view. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
