Hi

I have just finished my DVD boxset and watched all of the episodes from series one. When does series two start on channel four? I'm not sure I can wait too long! :hourglass

Thanks :)

:wizard:

I'm afraid I don't know but I can't wait! In fact I have been reading the episode guides on the ABC website (very naughty!)

Have you watched all the extras yet? Some are brilliant :thumbsup2

No I haven't....that will be something to give my "fix" until the new series! It is very addictive - I found that some evenings (with the intention of only watching one episode) I have wound up watching three or four!

Yes, multi episode nights were the norm when i got the set.

Im not sure of the exact month, but according to the presenter at the end of the final show, it will be back on with series 2 in the spring?? So shouldnt be too long, I hope. :goodvibes I cant wait for the next series niether :thumbsup2

Just subscribing in case anyone gets a date...

We bought the season 1 box set in November - and watched the last 12 episodes in a week :rotfl:

ETA: I just did some googling and it looks like C4 has confirmed the spring - as in June  thought that was summer!

We were discussing it at work today though and if they're gonna put it back on C4 on a Wednesday then they'll have to wait for Desperate Housewives to finish - so that's like another 20 odd weeks. Which would make May.

We have seen the first few episodes (7 or 8, I think) from Series 2. DH downloaded them off the web. All I can say is very interesting :thumbsup2

we're up to date on series two....we download the episodes each week from the internet (the day after they're broadcast in the US)..

i won't give away any of the plot lines, but all i can say is it continues to be BRILLIANT!!!!

It certainly is :thumbsup2

We saw an episode of the new series when we were on holiday, and it was really good, I'm really looking forward to it coming back :Pinkbounc

Im up to 11 on series 2....its going a little slower paced than series 1, and theres a couple of episodes so far that you could miss, and not really know youve missed, if you know what I mean.....last weeks (S02E11) was really good though....that big bearded chap from the "others" is rather freaky.

JUNE!!! That's outrageous :Pinkbounc How am I going to wait that long? For those downloading from the US, I have an Ipod and an Itunes account but when I tried to download from the US website it said I wasn't allowed. Could someone clue me in on what to do?

Many thanks from a frustrated, impatient Claire xx

Just heard on the Radio they have all been signed for Series 3!!! :thumbsup2

Wow, thanks Tron for all that inside info :thumbsup2 Now I just have to decode a bit of it as I am not really technology minded but i'm sure I'll sort it out. Thanks once again,

Claire xx

BTW, great news about a series 3. Got a feeling we may never find the truth at this rate though :teeth:

I agree with tron about it being a bit slower this season, though the past couple of episodes have been unmissable.

They still don't seen to be giving atlot away though.i keep telling DH they are going to run it for 16 season's and you won't find it all out untill the final one. :rotfl:

Downloading from the Itunes site is legal (unlike the illegal downloading referred to by another poster).....tv shows cost $1.99/show....

however to download from the US Itunes site you have to have a US credit card.......even though i haven't lived in the states for years, i still have a few american credit cards (just in case), which is why i can download from them....we download Lost and Desperate Housewives each week....

What sort of format do they provide these episodes in, whats the quality like etc ?

I just had a quick look on the ITunes site, and I couldnt even find them.....not that I would consider paying for them mind....just curious !

were you on the Itunes US site or the UK site?

the videos are on the US site.....

if you go to the itunes US site, then you just click on the tv section and thats where they all are......it's very straightforward..

the quality is superb....the best download quality i've ever seen...since after all, the quality comes straight from ABC (it's an official download - perfect quality)..

and there are no commercials...

Lost and Desperate Housewives download in a very short time....

you can view them on your computer or your ipod video...
we usually view them on my son's computer, but sometimes we connect it to the TV.....depends on our mood...
