I got these spoilers from a message board and not a spoiler site, so I hope they're real (some have been posted already, so I'm guessing they are). Maybe someone can find a copy of In Touch magazine and see if they are in there.

In the most recent issue of In Touch June 27 page 79:

“Seeing Double”
At the finale’s end, there was a glimpse of two shady people on The Other’s raft. “They were twins”, says star Josh Holloway, leading to theories of cloning experiments on Lost island.

“The monster, revealed!”
In script notes leaked online, the unseen monster that’s been terrorizing the survivors is described as a “primordial mapinguari”- a mythical, vicious descendent of the giant ground sloth.

“Mechanical animals”
This bird squawked the name of one of the survivors-Hurley-as it flew away. And when the monster attacked a survivor, it made a distinctly mechanical sound. Are they animals, robots or hybrid?

“More survivors!”
Ana-Lucia, played in a flashback by Michelle Rodiguez, will appear next season. It is believed that she, like all the passengers seated in the plane’s tail had perished in the crash. If they had survived, how has the island changed them?

“The Others exist”
The castaways doubted the existence of The Others, the sadistic human island dwellers. But Ethan Rom (the Other that they killed, who was played by William Mapother, played by Tom Cruise’s real life cousin) is an anagram of other man! Wait-the actors name is Mapother? Yikes!

“Peek-a-BOO”
The survivors learned that the island is also patrolled by a lethal security system, seen here dragging a survivor away. Escaping the security system will be a large part of season two.

Anyhoodle, if you don’t believe me, believe Damon Lindelof who told fans at the first Lost convention a couple weeks back that Sawyer is safe, at least for now. Little known fact … I had heard that Josh was somewhat struggling with the demanding schedule of the show during the first season, working himself to the point of exhaustion a few times. (As you know from Evangeline Lilly’s recent QA, they work their perfectly sculpted hineys off!) And I’m told at one point, when he’d worked himself to the point of exhaustion, he actually considered – hope you’re sitting down for this -- quitting or scaling back his role on the show. But no need to worry. I’m told that all passed and Josh is 100 percent on board for the new season as a full series regular. You can breathe now.

Kristin_Veitch replies: I know for sure Sawyer and Jin are, and I’m also hearing Michael and Walt will be back. But that’s not to say that everyone will be back for the full season … As I’d mentioned, they all have clauses in their contracts that they can be written off at any time. Gulp.

Thanks, Dawn. Thinking about this some more, it's obviously not Danielle. Um, I think it is Sun. I know I said Shannon before, but since Jin is coming back--I think they will go for the big, traumatic scenes and kill Sun off. I just don't see them letting those 2 live happily ever after, or go back to the way they were before the raft was built. I just can't picture it. Killing Shannon would be overkill since they killed her brother. The only other thing I could see them doing is to kill Rose, which would be cheating as she is not really one of the main characters.

Okay Lost Girls, here is one Dh passes the info on....Don't know if any of the spoilers have confirmed this yet or not.

The female who dies early in the season will not be Shannon. She was set to play a role in the yet-to-be-filmed x-men 3 but had to back out due to her commitment to filming Lost. x-men 3 is not set to start filming until fall. So if she's so commited she can't do a movie, she surely isn't going to die right?

So, wouldn't it be interesting if Jin makes it back to the island, and then Sun dies

That's what I was thinking. It's also a possibility that it could be Rose. Same thing, we're going to find out that her husband is alive on the other side of the island, but then she dies.

She originally auditioned for the role of Kate and JJ Abrams didn't want her for that role, but wanted her in the show bad enough to write the part of Sun. Jin only came to the show because they needed a husband for Sun. Seems like a lot of extra work if they were going to kill her off. I hope it's not her.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before... I don't have time to read back right now.

In "US" magazine it states in an interview that there is a subtle long range clue in the two younger men on the "others" boat.

Matt and I looked at it again last night.. they didn't look like identical twins to us as Sawyer said (but I'm sure they love messing with everyone's minds). We did notice right off that the two younger men looked a lot more clean shaven than the old dude and not dressed quite as winter and Gorton's fisherman.

Here is a theory I came up with... what if those two men were part of the survivors that were in the tail section of the plane.. the tail section might have crashed near to where the "others" live. Maybe the "others" have some mind control over people (the sickness) and have already turned these people into their slaves or drones or whatever.

That could be why Rose feels her husband is still alive (just a mindless drone now..lol) and why they are going to have the girl that was flirting with Jack back..

That would also explain the transmission that Boone received after he said that they were the survivors of flight 815 - where the voice came back and said "WE are the survivors of flight 815

Ok.. long shot but I thought I would throw it out there

I don't think that's a long shot at all.... because it's exactly what I'm thinking!

I agree - I don't think it will be Sun if they created the role just for her. I don't think it will be Shannon since her relationship story line with Sayid is picking up again. Maybe Claire? Leaving Charlie to raise the baby by himself? I don't think it will be Rose...I'm sure her character will pick up once she finds her husband (assuming she does).

The Spoiler Riddle answer is the second item--Harold Perrineau coming back to Lost, that is true. But I did ask Aly about Veronica and it sounded somewhat promising: "I love that show!" she said. "And, you know, I hope so. I mean, as long as they can work it out with this schedule, and I think they can because we do have hiatus, I'd love to!" Are you listening, Rob Thomas?

From brando: Is Maggie Grace still doing X-Men 3? I heard maybe she was dropped from it. How is that going to affect her role on Lost?
According to her rep, "There is no official word yet, but saying she had the role was premature on the part of Variety. She is still doing Lost, so no worries."
