LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

I posted this on the other thread too, but I googled the quote that "Zeke" said to Jack/Locke/Sawyer. It was credited to Alvar Hanso and came up with links to the Hanso Foundation. He said that a very wise man once said these words so he would have to know Hanso. That would lead me to believe that The Others are, indeed, the scientists from the hatches...or at least part of the Dharma Initiative somehow.

I need help, I missed about 15 minutes of Lost last night, I saw it up till the point when it was dark out, and Locke wanted to turn back, but then, a guy, (I think one of the "others" who kidnapped Walt,) said that's a good idea, where it went to a commercial break, I missed the whole next segment, and when I got back to it, the three of them were walking back with Kate. Why is Jack so mad at her?

Jack told her not to come with them, but she did anyway. Had she listened, they might have been able to get further with the "others", since they wouldn't have had her to use as ransom to make them leave.

I actually thought it was also because he's jealous of the fact that Sawyer said he loved her when he was sick and unconscious and that Kate and Sawyer seem closer.

I"m so surprised how quiet this threads been for the last week or two!! Where is everyone?

I have one question. Why did Locke keep the Mary statues in with the guns instead of distroying them? I don't get why he'd do that. :confused3 :confused3

Guess nobody has any spoilers to share :confused3

CONGRATULATIONS to the Lost cast for thier SAG award last night....best ensamble cast, drama! Did anyone watch all the way through to the credits....who was the lady kissing on our Hurley??? I couldn't tell if it was one of the cast members or some other lovely lady.

I was trying to find this thread last week like crazy after lost. And couldnt. So glad I found it now. I LOVE LOST hehe. Its to bad there is not a new episode on this week.

I didn't think many people were still reading.

I looked one place for spoilers real quick and nothing major except this:

Episode 2.14: One Of Them
Airdate: February 15, 2006

01/28 - When Rousseau leads Sayid to a mysterious captive in the jungle, he becomes determined to find out if he is one of the "Others.'' Source: WCHS
01/03 - [This episode] is Sayid-centric with a flashback to Iraq. Sayid deals with a CIA agent (George Clooney type) named Inman. Source: SecretAgentMan at TWoP

and this was pretty interesting:
01/25 - Writer/Supervising producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach reveals (note that this is a summary of the spoilerish things he revealed): Eko facing off against the 'monster' is a big deal in terms of the series because he's the only person - next to Locke - who has seen the 'monster' and has lived to tell the tale! Only with Eko, it was a different kind of encounter. That is something that the fans can expect to see bear fruit in future episodes. It's a hugely important thing, but won't necessarily be revealed immediately. [...] What you're going to see with Eko is that he has his own destiny on the island, and of all the characters, he has the most direct connection to the island because of the Nigerian drug plane. That's going to pay off in different ways. It's not going to mean necessarily that we wind up giving you the history of the 'monster' as a result of its interaction with Eko, but it sends Eko in a direction where he has a destiny to fulfil on the island that's gonna pay off. [...] What happens in episode #11 with Mr. Friendly showing up again, making himself seen and making his laws of the island very clear to the characters, will ripple throughout the rest of the season in a very meaningful way. [...] You're going to begin to see a lot more of the Others, and see a lot more of what they're about and what they're doing. Source: The Official Lost Magazine, Issue 3, March/April 2006

I've never been good about solving these puzzles, but I wonder if Sayid could (possibly) be an Other from before (like his dealings with the CIA) or if something happened when he was with Danielle. Didn't she inject him with something?

ETA: :rotfl: after having some caffeine and reading this again, I realize now Sayid is determined to find out if the captive is an Other, not if Sayid himself is an Other. Duh! It would have been much more interesting they way I thought it.

I still love Charlie!

Charlie got on my nerves so bad last week. Then Sunday night I rewatched the Claire flashback epsiode and it changed my mind about him. Considering how he "had her back" from the first, she really turned on him fast. I know there is a baby in the equation now but I still feel like she just used him all this time, maybe because no one else was offering to help her out. I don't feel like she feels ANYTHING for him, not even friendship or gratitude. And he has been a good friend to her.

All of them were really quick to turn on him. It seemed a little weak to me.

They all turned on him a bit too quick. Wonder if that will mean something later on.
