LOST....*WARNING* Future Spoilers

Things sure are getting interesting.

Does anyone think the blonde on the boat with The Others was Jack's wife? A friend sent me something earlier today where some people think that. I figured she died and he couldn't save her this time. :confused3

we've already seen Claire's baby's father. Tom. The jerk who convinced her to keep the baby then ditched her. In the episode, Raised by Another.

That's right. I forgot about that.

No it's not, some people think she looks like the woman who was in the hotel room with Charlie the morning he got on the plane.

What's Jack's wife's name? I thought it was Sara, a patient that he "healed" and we saw that during a flashback? I thought I remembered something about her saying he was able to help her "dance at her wedding" during an earlier flashback.

Yes, she is the one.

I caught the tale end of a radio program this morning with one of the producers (not JJ) Anyway he confirmed that each season there will be one main character killed off! UGH!!! He didn't answer many questions but he was clear on that! :scratchin

I only saw the season finale and the new season opener but have an idea of what is going on.

I thought that the "shot" the hatch guy was injecting was either an antidote to what ever is being quarantined....or...its the opposite. He is injecting the "virus" (or whatever) as an experiment. His whole situation looks like an experiment by the goverment.
that was my take on it...as a novice Lost watcher....

could this be???

Thanks! I didn't think it looked like her. I'm very interested to see what their story was and what happened between then.

Kill someone every season? Are they NUTS? They can't do that to us!

Are there going to be two threads now, or are we moving over to Season 2?
I am not the OP of either this thread or the Season 2 thread, but I believe we will be sticking to the 2 thread format, like we did for Season 1. This thread is for actively discussing spoilers and spreading information on past, recent and especially future episodes. That is so those who don't like to know the spoilers can stay away from this thread and see the Lost episodes without having prior information or being biased by what they read here. The season 2 thread is for discussions about the show that don't necessarily give away spoilers but more discusses theories or anything else about Lost. That is why the OP put *WARNING* in the title of this thread so those who don't like spoilers, know to stay away. I personally like the spoilers, so I enjoy reading both threads. Can't wait for this weeks episode, so we can find out what happened to those on the raft.

Good job 'splainin, Heidica ::yes:: Actually, it is a little confusing when we discuss the current episode on this thread....kind of feel like you have to read both threads to get everyone's reactions and theories. We need to remember that some of the LOST fans don't come here, so if we have something (comments/ideas) that we want to share we everyone, we need to do it on the other thread.

I missed about 4 episodes in total so far for season 1. Though I read a lot of these boards so I know what's going on pretty well.

However, I missed whatever episode discussed the key around Jack's neck. What is it for? What does it go to? The key that was pulled by the magnetic force when he looked through the wall/crack in the hatch. Can someone tell me what the key is to?

The key is to the case that holds Kate's guns (actually I think they were the Marshall's). Jack didn't trust anyone else with it.

(I hope that's the right answer! I watched all of last season, but only saw each episode once.)

One person said that a friend of hers recorded what Walt was saying and then played it back. She said it sounds like he says "Don't push the button the buttons bad".

They had a big discussion about this on the radio today in Chicago...They were saying (and playing the clip backwards) that Walt said "push the button - no button is bad" And if you remember later in the show when Jack was going to push the button Locke yelled "don't push the button!!"

And another thing - where did Desmond get eggs to make his breakfast??

I'm sure you guys have noticed this earlier in the thread, but what is up with that 42F that flashes back and forth from 42 and 42F on the Oceanic Airlines site?

If you click on it then it then click on Ana Lucia's seat you see the shaking of the plane and the back area falling off.

What do you think it means? It obviously has to do with Ana Lucia; she reminds me a bit of Desmond. :earseek: She was very, very strange.

To me, it is hinting that the "back of the plane" people have their own little island setting and we haven't met them yet. Hum, I wonder?

Jenn's idea makes perfect sense, that explains characters like Ana-Lucia

i agree. i think there's something going on with the passengers who were in the tail end of the plane as well. rose seems to know something that the rest of them don't. i was just watching the first season and she says some things about her husband that make it seem like he's still alive, along with the rest of the tail passengers.

according to a usa today article:

"Producers hoped to keep Rodriguez's casting a secret to protect the "big reveal" that a set of new castaways would be discovered along with the rear half of the plane early into the season. But someone leaked the news to the press."

could be true, could be bogus. who knows?

Thanks! Oh yeah, and what does everyone think about the 'other man' anagram on the site? Isn't it funny that we pointed that out earlier in the series and there it is on the site, we were right!

Any other cool things I haven't noticed yet?

Yes it was the key to the gun case of the Marshall's. Kate and Jack dug up the Marshall's body to get the key. She and Sawyer went swimming and found the case.
