Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

Taken from next week's TV Guide:

"But Lost's most unexpected twist this season occurred off screen: The writer's strike means that the number of original episodes drops to eight from the planned 16."

So it's only going to be on for two months (or actually less, if there's a two hour premiere)???

From what I gather off of Entertainment Weekly.com...

ABC planned to air 16 consecutive episodes this season with no repeats. They only finished 8 before the writer's went on strike. They plan to finish the remaining 8 for this season once the strike ends.

Same with 24... they wanted to air all the episodes consecutively without repeats. They have some episodes done, but they won't air them until the strike is over and they can run them without repeats.

I think they are part of Dharma or whatever company took over ofr Dharma. I think we pretty much know that at least Kate and Jack get off the island. I really don't want them to. Especially since all they want to do is go back.

Did Charlie really die?

We haven't finished watching Season 3 again yet so I don't remember how Namoi is. Is she close to death? Could she be one? I don't remember if she was "healthy" by the end of the season or not.

Do you think her people are there to rebuild the hatch?

Yes, I think Charlie really died. As far I know the actor is only in flashbacks, if even that.

I don't think they are there to rebuild the hatch, but maybe to revisit the experiments that started on the island.

I think it's Dharma and somehow, what's his name cut off contact with them and they "lost" the island. And now they've found it again.

These are all guesses. I haven't been paying attention to the spoiler sites lately.

I can't wait for the season to start again, the TV schedules have been so boring since the writers strike.

I'm really anticipating the flash-forwards, I want to see what happens after the island, etc.

Although it's sad that this is the beginning of the end, at least it's not going to drag on and on and on like some shows, and instead give us a clear ending.

Well, I'm counting down the days, but til then I plan on re-watching the series.

I finally got the season 3 dvd's and watched them over the last week. Now, I will probably pull out seasons 1 and 2 to watch again. Anybody have anymore spoilers for the season premiere? I have soooo many questions I want answered, I would be very disappointed if they didn't address all of them before the series is over.

BTW, does anyone know if there is a non-spoiler thread started yet? If so, can you post it here. I tried to do a search and obviously got nowhere.

DH and I saw seasons 1 and 2 over about two weeks' time and were so addicted that we bought Season 3 in the first few hours after it released.

I don't know that I can live through one episode a week from here on out!

Ok I read a huge spoiler for Season 4 Episode 4 on DarkUfo's sight. I'll write in white text, so highlight below if you want to read it.

Apparently, episode 4 is about Kate, in a flash forward she's home and going to court. (this is the short version to the important part). She goes home from court to her son who is around 3 or 4 years old. Little blond boy in bed and she says something like "Hey Aaron". So, Aaron is now her son! Probably Claire's Aaron? So what they heck happened to Claire?
