Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

Desmond couldn't time travel until he was affected by the electromagnetism of the hatch when it exploded. He met Jack when he was training for the boat race that brought him to the island in the first place. I think the "see you in another life brother" thing was just a "see you around" kind of thing...not anything more.

Desmond did meet up with Penny that night as well...as he was leaving the stadium. That would be about 3 years ago, so when Penny told him in last night's episode that she had been looking for him for three years that is what she meant. After their meeting at the stadium Desmond left to do the race and then was stranded on the island.

gotcha!! thanks so much

Y'all got good memories!!! :thumbsup2
I totally forgot about Desmond meeting Jack while running the stairs of the stadium!

I don't know if everyone here already reads these spoilers but just in case you don't, here's a couple.

Two Spoilers from "The Other Woman"

1. The others have a therapist. And we find out she was married to Goodwin.

2. Daniel and Charlotte have taken the gas masks and left everyone else to make their way to the new hatch.

From Episode 4.08 - Meet Kevin Johnson:

SAYID CONFRONTS BEN’S SPY ON THE FREIGHTER, AND BEN PLEADS WITH DAUGHTER ALEX TO FLEE LOCKE’S CAMP TO SURVIVE AN IMPENDING ATTACK.

Cynthia Watros Guest Stars as Libby.

Wasn't Goodwin sleeping with Juilette? Hmmmmm...

I didn't even remember who Goodwin was to tell you the truth. THat certainly would make sense then with the episode title "the Other Woman" and the show will be mostly about Juliet this time I think.

Goodwin was the one that infiltrated the "Tailies" when the plane crashed. Ana Lucia killed him. In a later episode we see him in bed with Juilet, just before Ben comes to see her.

Yeah, I remember that now. I'm just so bad with names and that one didn't ring a bell.

Thanks!

I have a question....(maybe it should be on the regular non-spoiler thread)

When Desmond flashed-back to the Army, when he was going to the phonebooth ... was that Ethan that knocked the change out of his hand? Kinda looked like him.

I have it on Tivo and just watched it and he doesn't look familiar at all. I do not think it's Ethan.

I think they made it clear that he was "fixed". When Penny asked where he had been he told her he had been on an island. She said I know about the island etc.... Prior to that he had no clue about any island, who Sayid was etc.

I thought Sayid would have told him he had been on an Island.

I don't think that Desmond was having flashbacks or that he lost his memory like some have said. It was my impression that his present switched with his past. That's why he didn't know Sayid or anything about the island in his present, and how he did know about all of that in his past. Are you totally confused now?:rotfl:

I just loved it when Penny finally answered the phone and they were able to talk. So sweet! Everyone keeps saying that Des was hot in 1996, but I think he's hot now!:lovestruc

My son yelled out right away when he saw the seen. "That is the guy on the boat". He said it was the tall, big guy that took Desmond down to the sick quarters. Can someone Tivo that?

I thought Sayid would have told him he had been on an Island.

I think they want us to believe he is back to the way he was before because of the connection he had with Penny.

I watched it a few times and thought "hey, I bet we are supposed to know him" but DID NOT recoginize him. I will look again when DH watches.

No, it is not the same guy. The soldier was not somebody we have seen on the show before.

I watched it again and he didn't look familair then I thought he might have said something significant but all he said was something like "thanks for this morning brother"

How could anyone forget Goodwin - that gorgeous man. :lovestruc I was EXTREMELY disappointed when he was killed. Brett Cullen is one of my favorite actors. Looking forward to this next episode - maybe we will see more of him in flashbacks!!

Spoiler Snippets 1 and 2 were posted here on 3/1/08

Here are the next 4 spoiler snippets for tomorrow night's show:

3. In a romantic flashback we find out Goodwin works at the new hatch.

Dealing with some type of reactors.

4. Charlotte and Daniel want to shutdown the hatch because Ben could use it to gas the whole island.

5. Ben admits that Juliet was chosen to be his, as in a mate. Not to be with Goodwin. And that he wouldn't let Goodwin leave the tailies group specifically because he wanted him to get killed. This all becomes clear to Juliet as Ben shows her Goodwin's dead body.

6. Juliet finds out Daniel and Charlotte are there to stop Ben and are more good guys then bad. She doesn't shoot them.

I just read some interesting spoilers at Dark UFO. There's nothing real major here, but interesting nonetheless.

Question: "Who is the 'friend' on the freighter?"
Ausiello (of TV Guide): "Little tip: Stop asking who, and start asking how."

Could it be someone we think is dead?

"It's no shock to say that Season 4 ends with the Oceanic 6 getting off the island," Lost executive producer Damon Lindelof shares with TV Guide. "The real mystery is how, and what they have to sacrifice, and what happens to the people who didn't leave. You get all that this year."

Jorge Garcia (Hurley): "Is Ben in the coffin?"
Carlton Cuse: "Come on, Jorge!"
Damon Lindelof: "Seriously!" [To Cuse] "He's just trying to make sure it's not him. It's process of elimination. The next question is, 'Is it Michael?'" [Laughs]
Cuse: "Before the end of the year, you will know who's in the coffin."
Lindelof: "And Jorge will definitely know before anyone else."

Concerning the time difference: Cuse: "There are some growth issues when you go on or off the island. But I can't say more about that."

Lindelof: "...there may be significant things that happened when Sayid was a kid that we need to reveal."

That's the major interesting stuff I found. Has anyone read anything about each of the Oceanic Six being related somehow to one of the numbers?

Yikes ~ I missed the first 15 minutes! Did anything happen that I should know?
