The people of this site have way too much time on there hands to have a page devoted to the band. that is some detailed stuff. I mean I have been to that site to keep up with characters but man that was crazy. I wonder how much info is on Walts dog and what happened to the dog...

Polar Bears are considered marine mammals, therefore they spend the majority of their time in the H2O and can swim. I am wondering if they were doing experiments on the bears to genetically engineer/adapt them to warmer climates. It always bothered me that they were in cages with no pools. As a marine mammalogist I am probably looking to much into it.

You might not be. And very cool job, by the way.

Maybe Dharma wanted to see if they could take an animal that should have died in the jungle and see if it didn't. They might have tried to adapt it as you said, or maybe just see if some force of the island kept it alive.

I'm also wondering if Dharma "created" the smoke monster.

I don't think the future is looking too bright for Kate and Sawyer. Sawyer looks like he's crossed a line tonight and won't be the same person anymore.

OMG!! I almost cried with the scene with Charlie! Then at the end where Kate gets out of the car, I was like D***, didn't see that coming. Hurlye rocked and Sawyer, loved him giving a shot to the bad guy for Walt.

I think there was some love loss between them. Jack looked very conflicted about the death. Like he had a love/hate relationship with the person. That's why I think it was Sawyer.

Maybe Kate had to get back to a son.

This is what dh and I think also....Kate and Jack...along with whomever is in the coffin made it back from the island, but many others did not....so Jack is consummed with guilt. All I know is it is going to be a long 6 months!!

I agree 100%! That scene with Charlie was so sad! And Hurley was definitely the hero tonight. Poor Hurley, first Charlie said he couldnt go in the boat because he was too big, then Sawyer told him he couldnt go with him and Juliet, but he still came through for everyone.

Actually, I hate to break it to you but I think it's going to be 8 months, unfortunately. I believe it will start February 6 and end the May 21, 2008, totaling 16 episodes.

Okay, first some questions (baby doesn't always keep quiet during the show) - What did Jack whisper right before he was going to jump and the accident occurred? And where did Mikhail think the Looking Glass girls were - on a submarine in Canada?

Poor Charlie. Poor Tom.

Who's dead? I'm not sure I'm even going to guess until I watch the episode again and get all the clues.

I'm guessing that Sawyer was who Kate had to get back to, but I also think that is probably not it for the simple fact that the writers know that's what we would think.

Man, there's a lot of speculation to do before Jan 2008!

Okay, another question. I thought Jack said that his father was upstairs - that they could go up and get his father and compare them, and if he was more drunk then he could be fired? Was he just so messed up on that he forgot his father was dead? Or is he not dead?

Two hours of Lost at once is a bit much to absorb.

And why was Penny transmitting onto the island if she didn't have a boat? Poor Desmond. Gets to see Penny, not talk to her, witness Charlie drown, have to come back and tell Claire that Charlie's gone, etc. Not a great day.
