But don't forget, the Others took a bunch of people from the tail section. They can bring those people back into it and probably should since they didn't just disappear, they were kidnapped.

As usual I have more questions. For instance, is Ben telling Jack the truth that they can get off the island any time they want. I'm thinking not, due to Ben's reaction to the sailboat, like he wanted it for himself.

I guess Sun was lying about Jin definitely being the baby's father. I wonder if she'll tell him the truth.

I'm happy to see we get to see what happens to Locke, Ecko and Desmond. It seems like they all survive.

This show has me overanalyzing everything. So many things have turned out "not as it seems" so everything that happens I go into this little thought process to figure out, "so what OTHER meaning could they be trying to give. . ."

Plus one of my degrees is in communication studies so I REALLY analyze peoples' words and behaviors - I'm fascinated by manipulation of words to create multiple potential meanings while hinting strongly towards one meaning and the writers do SO much of that on this show. So when the showed the scene with Sun and Jae, they very strongly hint that they slept together. . . but never actually say that they did. So when Sun said she couldn't do this, my brain went to "Ok they want us to think they already slept together, but maybe they were getting ready to and THEN she got the guilty conscience . ." This show messes with my mind. They're so stingy with answers that I doubt them for a good long while when we do get them, LOL!

I also read Ben being anxious to get the boat as a control issue. They apparently have a VERY close watch on everyone on that island so I think it pulled the rug out from under a bit to find out they missed this big piece of information and that these people found this "tool" that might give them an advantage that the "others" don't want them to have. He wants them to remain stranded passengers on a deserted island - he doesn't want them to start putting pieces together until he is ready to hand them the pieces (like he's doing with Jack) and that boat allows them access to parts of the island they don't want them to know about, just like they said in that conversation.

Is it sick to analyze a TV show this much?!

MyGoofy26, it's funny that you brought up Sun and Jae, I was thinking the same thing, when she said she can't do this, but I'm thinking they did sleep together and when she says I can't do this, she just means she can't continue what they're doing. On the other hand, I could be totally wrong

The thing with the boat, Ben said HE would take Jack off of the island. Ben was a little too intense about that boat. Now I know he showed Jack the game, but I'm wondering if they have satelite links to the outside world like TV. It could be that there are "ways" for them to contact the outside world when they need supplies but no way to actually "talk" to anyone.

Well, it was good to see Sawyer use his head ... somewhat. Good move staging a fight to judge the Others and exactly how tough they are. Bad move for talking too much and not thinking that they could be watched.

There's no way Ben-Henry will let Jack or any of the castaways go. The rest of the world thinks Flight 815 was lost and everyone most likely dead. Anyone from that flight reappears, they're going to have to explain how they survived and if anyone else did. That's going to bring attention the Dharma Initiative and the Others probably don't want.

Unless ...

The Others are trapped there for some reason and they want off. Ben-Henry said he's lived on the island his entire life, and was anxious to get the boat. Maybe he sees it as a way to escape. He already let Michael and Walt go. If there isn't a trap waiting for them, then they can tip people off about the island.

Or maybe I'm way off.

Q: When Sawyer and Kate were being taken out to the rock busting site, the blonde woman who told Ben about the sailboat called to a man to tell him about the boat. Did she call out "Dad," or a name? He didn't look old enough to be her father but it sure sounded like Dad to us. And then he turned and asked Sawyer what he was looking at.
After that and Ben saying he'd been on the island his entire life, I'm thinking that there is something going on with time being affected on the island or aging being affected. Anyone?

Ahhhh I wish this show was on every night. I'm totally obsessed!!!!!

How crazy was when Jack was shown the red sox winning the world series (coming from a red sox fan, that was bliss).

And I love the flashbacks..it adds a whole 'nother dimension to the show.

Ok this show is making me both and

First off, the Red Sox winning the WS! Ahhhh what wonderful memories it brought back!

Second, I agree that it seemed that Ben wants that boat to get himself off of the island but remember what one of them said? That Sayid, Sun and Jin would be "going around in circles." Would this be due to the magnetic force? If so, how was Michael and Walt able to go home?

I'm getting a little annoyed with Juliet. Kate should have whacked that gun out of her hand. Sawyer definately knows what he's doing and will get them out of there.

What's up with Rousseau's daughter? Do you think that she will help them escape as well? She was looking for the young guy that helped Sawyer escape the bear cage and we don't know what happened to him. Hmmmmm

It would not be from the plane crash, but from when she took the pregnancy test. They had been on the island for 40+ days when she took the test.

Considering he died, and she was at his funeral, so a few mores days had gone by, let's assume it was a couple of week. Or at least a week. One week can make all the difference in the world, when added to 40 days. I don't think Jae is the father.

Ok, now Ben said that he had been on the island all his life. So, what.... he's been there since he was a baby? Are these people ageing at a slower rate then normal people age?

Didn't Juliet say she'd been on the island long before Dharma? She doesn't look real old. Or maybe she's been there all her life also.

So, what do you think is Juliet's and Ben's relationship after last night??

I first thought they hated each other, but last night when she knocked on that door and he came out with a sly grin and raised eyebrows it seemed like maybe they have something going on????
