LOST SEASON 3 **Official** Discussion/Speculation Thread (No Spoilers)

While I am sad to see the end coming(only 48 episodes!! yikes), I wish they would do it in 2 seasons rather than 3.
I agree. While I love this show, I need it to end. That we have an end date is good though. We won't get the answers that we need until the show ends. Six seasons is a long time to be having unanswered questions.

I love knowing that there is an end date. I am afraid with this show that I will devote all of this viewing and speculating time to it, and it will be cancelled before the "end" is known. Now I can sit back and relax and enjoy the show.

16 episodes a year really make sense. It's enough for a good story arc, a straight run from February sweeps through May sweeps.

Thanks for copying that press release here. So we have to wait three years for an ending. I love how they referenced the dream and snowglobe--they definitely won't do that now. They really pay attention to what viewers are saying on forums--probably not this one, but definitely the bigger ones.

Thanks for the news! Three more seasons...would have liked two, but at least we know there will be some resolution. Is it true they are going to be doing it like "24" and start in January -- no repeats?

I am VERY excited for tonight's episode! It looks great!

Oooohhh. This is gonna be a good episode.

Wait. I thought Ben said he was born on the island.

ok, so Ben was born on the island, and his dad could run to a road!!

and didn't the body that Hurley & friends found with the beer can in the van named Workman??!

They weren't on the island when Ben was born. The sign behind the couple said Portland.

Or were they??? that's what I'm so surprised about. They also told Juliette that they were going to Portland. Like the island is somehow connected to Portland??

This one isn't really answering anything...but it's really good. As usual more questions than answers.

So, Richard is a hostile. And he hasn't really aged. hmmm.

so, is Ben the reason that his dad is dead?? Seems like today is the day that he turns to the dark side with Richard.

Noooooooo....Not Locke. I hope his super healing powers kick in overdrive. Other than Ben, he is the most intriguing character on that island.

Ben killed his father at the same time as the hostiles killed everyone with Dharma. I'm not sure whether they're the dark side or not--did they call them island "natives"?
