LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

OMG is all I can say. What an episode! Almost makes all those reruns worth it. Almost.

I also thought it was weird that Jack's dad chose to call AL Sara. Hmmmmm. And the way he said it was weird.

I too think Libby will be okay eventually. Why else would they have her holding a pillow in front of her body in the scene? Thought that was a little bit strange.

Right after it was over, DH immediately said, "Well, those were the two chicks who got the DUIs. Guess they got their ticket out of there."

It wasn't Sarah, I know that actress well from Boston Legal. This woman was older and did indeed have an aussie accent. She is nobody we know currently but it is possible she could be Claire's mother.

I dont think it was Jack's ex-wife. Somehow, in listening to the conversation, it seemed like Jack's dad (forget his name) was arguing with her because he wanted to "see him"? Did anyone else pick this up?

I also missed a couple of minutes putting a little boy back to bed who took a wrong turn on the way to the potty and wasn't awake enough to find his way back to his bed (we live in a three bedroom apartment and his bedroom is next door to the bathroom  ) What happened with Sawyer and Ana-Lucia? I came back as she was putting on her top...

Such a good episode! This show just always blows me away.

What was the name of the lady Jack's father was talking to? They have a Lindsey list in the cast for last nights episodes, but I don't remember anyone named Lindsey. FYI- it was her only apperiance in the show to date (credit)

Michael definitely was not brainwashed. He told Ana Lucia he was sorry for what he was about to do. He thinks the Others will let him see or have Walt back in exchange for him releasing Henry Gale. He did not want to kill Libby but she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I am not sure if Libby is dead, because her story hasn't really even started yet. But unless they have kevlar-lined blankets on the island, it will be difficult for them to explain how she lived, unless they are going to tell her story in flashbacks alone, or maybe next week while she is dying.

I also don't understand why Jack's father said he needed a bodyguard in Australia. I don't think the woman is Claire's mother and it's definitely not Sara, although it was noteworthy that he decided to call Ana Lucia Sara, I think. The woman definitely had an accent, and her not allowing the father to see her seems to indicate that the child is younger. If it were Claire he would not have to ask the mother's permission. I definitely think there must be some link there, but I don't believe it is Claire or Sara.

Has anyone been able to get through to the "Hanso Foundation" phone number from the commercial (1-877-HANSORG)? I tried all last night and all morning today and it's been busy every time.

When Henry was trying to kill Ana Lucia, he said to her that she killed two of their people...who am I missing, she killed Goodwin, an Other, and Shannon by accident, not an Other.

Who is the "Other" Henry is talking about?

Today on GMA Ana Lucia was on but not the blond (name slips me right now) It was in her contract that she was going to be killed off She knew form the start a lot of people said it was her DUI that caused it BTW she never told other cast memebers that she was going to be killed.

Any how strange that the other character was not on GMA. Makes me think that she is still alive and on the show However at the beginning Diane Sawyer said last night on LOSt two key characters where killed could have been a slip of Diane's. they never mentioned why the pcysh docter was not interveiwed???

they had a "LOST" scene that did not make it on the show It showed Hurly and the girl running on the beach talking about things they missed like music! Hence the reason for the Say Anything boom box conversation with Syaid (BTW my favorite movie of all time)

I wonder how Sawyer is going to feel now Wonder if he had feeling or just needed a little! Loved when he asked "don't you want my phone number" :lmao:

When the Others came in the middle of the night to take the children didn't A.L. kill one of them? I think it was a woman.

Am I the only one wondering about the whole twist of "He Who Is In Charge" thing that Henry was spouting off about last night? The whole thing about how "wise" he is but "unforgiving", etc, etc, etc and then the teaser at the end of last nights episode for the following week makes me wonder if Michael has some charge of the Others to begin with....frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if WALT was the "He Who Is In Charge" to begin with.

I did LOVE the idea that AL stole a gun from Sawyer and he never noticed until someone else asked him for one...Yea, right!

So I bet Libby went to the hatch to get some records to play and that is what she had wrapped up in the blanket which could have possibly saved her from the bullets??!!

It was definately an Aussie woman and he told her he wanted to see her and that she was his daughter.

AL and Sawyer :woohoo: :teeth: I think she did it to get the gun he had.

Good theory, but what would they play the records on? I don't think they can build a phonograph out of sand. Just kidding. I do think that Libby was carrying something within those blankets that we can't see that saved her life. Hurley didn't look like he was grieving in the previews. So, I am hoping that something spared her.

I don't think that Michael's only goal was to set Henry free. Remember Henry told Locke that he intended to bring him to the Others. I think Michael is now picking up where Henry failed and intends to bring Locke to the Others in an attempt to get Walt back.

I wouldn't be surprised if Henry himself is the leader of the Others, the genius he was talking about.

I am wondering if it isn't Alvar Hanso. I think the "in charge" thing has something to do with Michael being in charge of the castaways group. The next thing they showed was Eko going off the cliff.

I wonder if the guns that Michael said the others had weren't the ones they took from Jack and Sawyer in the jungle. There was something "off" about the whole thing that made me think that they were after the guns all along.

But, there is a phongraph player down in the hatch. Remember the Mamas and the Papas song that was playing when they first go down the hatch and meet Desmond?

You know, you may have something there. We all know that Walt can control things with his mind. What if he is more powerful than we realize and caused the plane to crash? I haven't worked out yet how he got all these people on the plane, but I'll get there.

As with everyone else, I was really shocked by the shooting and did not see it coming. But after re-watching the scene last night I do think Libby is dead (or will be very soon) and Hurley believes Henry did it (to explain why he in the previews he isn't that upset). When I re-watched the scene, after Michael has shot both women there is a wide view of the scene and Libby is on the floor and there is a large amount of fluid (I'm assuming blood) flowing from her. Enough fluid to run all the way to where Michael is standing. So if it is blood, there is enough of it that she is dead. The only other thing I can think of, is Libby had a bottle of wine under the blankets and that is the fluid running on the floor (since her and Hurley had talked about wine). So, I think Michael planned on shooting Ana Lucia for some deal with the Others, accidentally shot Libby, shot himself in the arm and then let Henry escape. If both women are dead and Henry has escaped, there is only Michael to say what happened. Or if Libby isn't dead next week, she will be soon and Michael has to figure out how to finish her off, so she doesn't have the opportunity to say what really happened. Maybe on next weeks episode at the very end, Libby will finger Michael as the shooter just before she dies, and then Michael is thrown into the safe and that is what we see in the preview. Who says the preview has to show clips of next week show in chronological order? Maybe at the beginning of next weeks show Hurley believes Henry did the shooting, tells Michael he is glad he is okay, and then at the end of the episodes discovers the truth and throws Michael into the safe?? A bunch of "what-ifs" as usual! Can't wait until next week.

That wasn't blood or fluid. It was Michael's shadow. I thought the same thing at first, "Wow that's a huge amount of blood and moving quickly. The "movement" was actually the shadow of Michael's arm. In that shot you can actually see the shadow move away from her body. In the shot where there's a closeup of Libby on the floor, there's no indication of blood.

In the preview, Hurley does look upset, just not upset with Michael. So she could very well be dead. And why is Kate so upset in the preview? She's only known AL and Libby for what, a week now?
